The room offered a nice view from the window and had a large, soft, and very comfortable bed. However, the room itself was a bit small, and the cleanliness of the towels could be improved. There's a public seating area in front of the hotel where some homeless people gather in the evenings, but they disappear during the day. You don't need to worry about them, it's safe. Breakfast was average and a bit overpriced.

Wow what a cool space. I read somewhere this is the largest prefab hotel in the world? Can't swear to it but it's certainly an ambitious space. Rooftop bar and views are excellent and a really cool bartender up there too. Right in the thick of the bowery kookiness. I got a kick out of the fivepointz nod in the stairwell, too. Glad I came!
