What really made the stay special was the wonderful service from the entire team. The door staff greeted us with warm smiles, the front desk handled our check-in smoothly and kindly, and the buffet staff were always friendly and attentive. Everyone we met made us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay.
Our room was spacious, spotless and very well maintained. Housekeeping did an amazing job everything was clean, neat, and thoughtfully prepared. It really made us feel relaxed and at home. The level of cleanliness was excellent and definitely stood out.
We also enjoyed the food, which had a nice variety and was very satisfying. Overall, the experience felt pleasant, comfortable, and welcoming in every way.
Thank you to the whole team for such a lovely stay. We left with great memories and would happily return again in the future.
I recently stayed at the Parkroyal Collection Kuala Lumpur for two nights, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. While I appreciated the early check-in at 2:30 PM, the room quality and service fell short of expectations.
Upon returning from shopping, I found the shower drainage completely clogged and flooded. It took a significant amount of time for a technician to arrive. When he did, he opened the drain to find it filled with hair and dirt. Furthermore, he wore his outdoor shoes into the shower and then tracked dirt across the bedroom floor. Although he eventually mopped the footprints, the lack of hygiene was unsettling.
I requested a room change at 10:25 PM. While the front desk was helpful, it took nearly an hour for the new key to arrive, meaning we couldn't even begin to rest until after 11:20 PM. To make matters worse, the second room also had a clogged washbasin. Additionally, the weighing scale was non-functional due to a flat battery, and the body lotion had clearly sat unused for a long time as the first pump was solidified. We also found the LED display on the AC controller far too bright for sleeping, forcing us to cover it up ourselves.
While the bed was comfortable and the shower gel was great, the recurring maintenance issues and slow service made for a frustrating stay.
We booked the Urban Deluxe Queen Room, and to be honest, the layout felt a bit unusual. There is no complete wall separating the bathroom area from the bed, and the sink is positioned right next to the sleeping area. Because of this open design, any odors from the toilet can easily carry throughout the entire room, which compromises privacy. While we appreciated the inclusion of a filtered water tap, we felt that complimentary bottles of cold mineral water should still be provided to guests. Additionally, there is no full-length mirror in the room. The only mirror available is on a half wall, which does not fully cover the sink area and only allows you to see your upper body. For a five-star hotel, it was also surprising to find no overhead rainfall shower, as there was only a standard handheld water heater shower head. The shower enclosure itself is quite small and would feel incredibly cramped for two people. Lastly, we noticed there was no bidet spray in the toilet.
Our primary reason for choosing this hotel was the highly positive feedback regarding their breakfast buffet. My husband is exceptionally particular about his Nasi Lemak, and I was pleasantly surprised when he thoroughly enjoyed it on our first morning. No other hotel has managed to satisfy his taste standard until now. While the texture of the rice was a bit different and slightly disappointing on the second day, highlighting a minor issue with consistency, the overall breakfast selection was vast, full of variety, and easily the best we have experienced so far.
Ultimately, I would like to highly praise all of the staff members who assisted us during our stay. Every interaction we had was professional, welcoming, and genuinely warm.
The breakfast was simply incredible — a fantastic variety of fresh, delicious options and easily one of the highlights of our stay. The facilities were equally impressive, beautifully maintained and offering everything needed for a relaxing and comfortable visit.
The location was another huge advantage with great shops, restaurants, and transport all within easy walking distance, making it incredibly convenient to explore the area.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and truly exceptional hospitality.
