HUALUXE Hotels and Resorts KUNMING

This hotel is quite old overall. The carpets in the hallway were a bit stained, and the facilities were rather basic. At over 3500 yuan per night, the value for money is very low. Although the hotel has a small animal area, a mini-train, and some children's activities, the mini-train requires advance booking and only runs once an hour, on the hour. All the children's activities also incur extra charges. During our 3-day stay, there were business meetings every day, with a check-in desk set up in the lobby. In short, it's not very suitable for a family vacation. Additionally, the swimming pool and outdoor hot spring area were pitch black at night; you could barely see anything (I went out on the first night and couldn't even find the hot springs). When I wanted to swim during the day, there were kids having swimming lessons, occupying three lanes... The breakfast was standard, nothing special. Sweet soup was delivered to the room in the evenings. The only positive was the very enthusiastic housekeeping auntie; she deserves a good review. Dianchi Lake is not far from the hotel, just a few minutes by taxi, and you can rent a bicycle to ride around.

An excellent experience! The butler service was attentive and thoughtful. The hotel environment is lovely, and the breakfast spread is fantastic! The room facilities are superb and show great attention to guest comfort. It was a wonderful stay! I'll definitely book again!

The service was incredibly attentive. While the late check-in was a bit unpleasant, your service more than made up for it. The executive lounge was also very considerate of guests; knowing we weren't used to the chopped chili pomfret, they specially prepared a plate of chopped chili yellow croaker for me [strong emoji]. The hotel environment is great, and Ctrip even provided a complimentary travel photoshoot.

A very good experience. Ms. Mia contacted me in advance to arrange the room, and her replies were prompt and enthusiastic. The view and environment were great in all aspects. I'll definitely choose HUALUXE Hotel again next time.

The hotel's overall design seems quite old, and I'm not sure if it's been renovated since. However, the hygiene was good, the service was fine, and the breakfast was excellent with lots of local dishes. Although the hotel garden isn't very large, it has many small animals, making it perfect for kids. There's also a family of black cats, which are incredibly cute. It's a shame the pool wasn't usable; considering Kunming's temperatures, it probably only gets a few usable days a year, which feels like a bit of a waste.

The room was fantastic, my kids absolutely loved it. Mia's service was warm and attentive, very satisfied.

After comparing many hotels, we chose this one, and it certainly didn't disappoint. We had a very pleasant trip. The hotel environment is excellent, surrounded by lush greenery, and has complete recreational facilities, making it very suitable for families with children. Our butler, Mia, provided excellent service, answering all our questions and being warm and attentive. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

The hotel is right next to Haigang Dam and Yunnan Nationalities Village. Its location feels like a Southeast Asian garden. The bread in the hotel lobby is delicious, and the little train operator was very friendly. Mia, the hotel's customer service manager, was excellent; she even reserved craft materials for the kids and was very responsive on WeChat.

The experience was absolutely perfect! The service was excellent, especially Cathy, who was incredibly welcoming and hospitable. She always responded promptly to any questions and resolved issues very efficiently. Highly recommend! 👍
