The room was very comfortable, and the concierge service at the front desk was exceptional. They even upgraded my room since I checked in quite late.

Cleanliness: Clean and satisfactory. Facilities: Satisfactory. The location is excellent, right by the Xiang River, which is very pleasant. It's convenient for taking river cruises, and the Three Museums and One Hall are nearby. Service: Very thoughtful. The doorman, front desk, and housekeeping staff all have great service attitudes. They were proactive in helping, patient in explaining, and even offered to carry my luggage.

The hotel has a rich cultural heritage, but the service quality and staff professionalism are a bit lacking. They didn't seem very sharp or enthusiastic. I guess I returned for the nostalgia.

The room was spacious and clean, located right at the confluence of the Liuyang and Xiang Rivers, offering unbeatable views. Huge thanks to Sera for the thoughtful arrangements, I was super satisfied! The surrounding area is part of the vast Beichen development, with plenty of shops and restaurants, giving it a lively, local vibe. The hotel's location is ideal, just a 1-2 minute walk from Changsha Museum, the Concert Hall, and the Library, and a 5-minute walk to the Three Halls and One Theater pier. Excellent location. The river view room offered first-class scenery, and breakfast was incredibly rich. Plus, there's a strong 'old money' feel to the place, making it perfect for travel photography. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Changsha.

I chose this hotel for Jonathan Lee's concert, deciding between it and another near Wuyi Square. I opted for this one because I prefer a quieter environment and better surroundings. Overall, my stay was excellent. The room was bright and airy, very clean and tidy. The full-length curved window offered a panoramic view of the beautiful Xiangjiang River, and both the inside and outside of the window were spotless, which was a huge plus! The service was also great, friendly and professional, and my requests for housekeeping were promptly met. The hotel has direct access to a shopping mall with various dining options, which is incredibly convenient for guests.

The views are fantastic, offering panoramic vistas of the Xiang River, and the night view is even more stunning. You can just head downstairs and stroll along the riverside promenade. The room service is meticulous, thorough, and very responsive.

Pretty good. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean and upscale. The lobby was also grand. The location is excellent, not far from XSTA nightclub and Snack Kingdom. The river is right outside. Suzy and the manager were very nice and welcomed us warmly. The dining, however, could use some improvement. It falls a bit short compared to the InterContinental hotels in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. Considering Changsha is a foodie paradise, people's expectations for dining will naturally be higher. I suggest strengthening this area to better manage guest expectations.

Before checking in, I saw reviews saying the hotel was old and run-down, which made me nervous. I originally booked three nights but changed it to one. Even though it was a non-changeable reservation, the hotel quickly approved my request for a refund. However, after checking in, I found it wasn't as dilapidated or dirty as the reviews claimed. It was very tidy and clean, and not nearly as old as I expected. The river view from the 27th-floor bar is absolutely stunning! When I checked in, the front desk attendant was really enthusiastic and upgraded us to a river-view room. We could relax on the sofa in our room and take in the entire river scenery – super enjoyable! So, we extended our stay for another night, and they even gave us Zongzi (sticky rice dumplings). Five-star rating! I'll definitely be back to stay here again!
