Ascott Raffles City Beijing Service Apartment

I arrived in Beijing on a late flight and chose a hotel closest to my business destination. Honestly, I didn't have high expectations, just needed a place for the night... but my stay turned out to be excellent! 😊 Room facilities: The decor was traditional with wainscoting, very old school, but the floors looked like they had been renovated. It had a Bose sound system and a full Siemens kitchen setup. There was also a direct drinking water system – everything you could possibly need. Bathroom: A bidet was added to the toilet, and there was no unpleasant odor, which is very important! However, there's one minor gripe 😑: the toilet and shower shared a single sliding glass door, and it rattled loudly with just a slight touch (I hope the hotel can improve this). Bedroom: I have to give this a huge shout-out! I travel frequently for work and am a light sleeper, so I always use earplugs and an eye mask. But this time, I didn't need any of them! 😂 I slept soundly through the night, it was incredibly comfortable! I'm really grateful for that (-ω-)💤 Also, I have to mention the breakfast – surprisingly good and quite varied! Of course, it might not compare to super five-star hotels, but it surpassed most domestic five-star hotels I've stayed in. Plus, if you order takeout, a robot delivers it right to your door, which is super convenient. I feel this would be a great choice if you're traveling with elderly family members or children. [clapping hands] Overall, I'm extremely satisfied! 👍

Everything was great! The location is excellent, making it super convenient for taxis and subways. It's also directly connected to Raffles City Mall, so dining and shopping are a breeze. The high-floor views are fantastic; on clear days, you can see distant mountains, sunsets, and evening glow. Rainy days also create a really atmospheric vibe. The robot delivering food to the room was a very convenient touch.

The location is fantastic, right at the southwest corner of Dongzhimen. Raffles City Mall is right downstairs, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient! The room is also quite spacious, and the kitchen, fridge, and washing machine are all fully equipped. The doorman downstairs provides excellent and proactive service!

I always love rooms where I can do laundry and cook. It feels less like a hotel and more like coming home.

The hotel is very close to Dongzhimen subway station. The elevator goes directly to B1 level, which connects to the B1 level of the mall. Inside, there's a supermarket, a 24-hour convenience store, and various food options, much like a food court. It's also very convenient to walk to the subway station. We booked a two-bedroom, two-living room, two-bathroom suite, which was on the top floor. The view was a bit hazy due to the air quality. The room's decor was a bit simple, and the service, typical of an apartment hotel, was also quite basic. Overall, it was decent.
