JI Hotel (Guangzhou Tianhe Tiyuxi Road Metro Station)

Clean, quiet, and self-check-in/out (a godsend for introverts!). The hotel's location is fantastic! Right downstairs is Liuyun Community with all sorts of delicious food stalls and trendy网红 stores. The hotel even has robots that deliver food really quickly.

When I checked in, they asked if I had any room preferences, and I just said non-smoking. But when I got into the room, there was an incredibly strong smell of smoke and even cigarette butts. It was truly awful, I've never encountered anything like this in all my years of staying in hotels.

This was by far the worst Huazhu Hotels experience I've ever had. On the first day of my stay, I went to do laundry. After the wash, all my clothes turned pink. The manager added me on WeChat and immediately started questioning if my own clothes had bled color. I told them straight up that I only had one pair of brown pants in there, and I’d owned them for two months, so there’s no way they’d bleed color anymore. But because of that single statement, the manager aggressively twisted it to mean it was my own clothes bleeding. First of all, I’ve been washing these clothes for months, they shouldn’t bleed. Secondly, I didn't have any pink clothes in there, so there's no way a white shirt could turn pink. It was news to me that brown clothes could turn other clothes pink. In the end, it ruined a BOSS suit worth over 4,000 RMB, even the care label on the suit turned pink. It ruined a T-shirt worth over 400 RMB, and a white shirt worth several hundred RMB – a total loss of over 5,000 RMB. When I reported the washing machine dyeing my clothes, the hotel didn't offer any immediate solution. They just tossed my clothes aside and ignored it. Later I realized the hotel manager was ready to deflect blame from the start and had no intention of solving the problem. Instead, I was the one suggesting that since the suit was dark, maybe it wasn't a big deal if it got stained, as it wouldn't be noticeable. But what about the light-colored clothes that turned pink? How would the hotel resolve that? The answer was, they had no solution and completely shifted the blame onto me. Complaining was useless, calling their 400 number was useless. Everything online about Huazhu Hotels' washing machines dyeing clothes, and how their 400 number is just for show and complaints go nowhere, is absolutely true. So, remember, with hotels like this, don't be polite, don't have a good attitude. The nicer you are, the more agreeable you seem, the more they'll take advantage of you. I have no choice but to pursue legal action to resolve this now.

This was my first time visiting Guangzhou, and I stayed at this hotel with my girlfriend. The design and decor of the Ji Hotel chain are consistently good, and the room facilities were well-maintained. The front desk staff were very friendly and even extended our check-out time to 2 PM free of charge, which was fantastic. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Guangzhou! P.S. There's a Yunnan-style BBQ and an authentic Yunnan restaurant right next to the hotel. For anyone from Yunnan feeling a bit homesick, it's a great place to get a taste of home. My stay at the All Seasons Hotel Guangzhou Tiyu Xilu branch was absolutely fantastic, five stars all the way! What really stood out was the staff. From the front desk to the cleaning crew, everyone was incredibly friendly and polite. They made me feel so welcome and comfortable, truly like a home away from home. The hotel's laundry room facilities were also the best I've experienced in a hotel of this caliber. It was clean, convenient, and well-equipped, which is a huge plus for travelers. And the location? Simply unbeatable! Right downstairs is one of Guangzhou's trendiest areas, packed with food streets where you can eat from morning till night. Just a short walk around the corner, and you're at major shopping malls like Teemall and Grandview Mall, making shopping, dining, and entertainment all incredibly convenient. Plus, public transport is super accessible. Overall, the service, location, and entire stay exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Guangzhou!

This JI Hotel has an excellent location. It's only a two or three-minute walk from the Line 3 APM station, and right downstairs there's a bustling food street with all sorts of shops. Major shopping centers like Grandview Mall and Zhonghuan are just a five-minute walk away. The hotel staff were all really great, which is definitely worth praising! Plus, our room even had a view of Canton Tower!

There are plenty of dining options right below the hotel, and it's very convenient for getting around. The environment is great, and the service attitude is excellent. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

My friends and I stayed in three rooms for 5 nights. Every evening when we returned to the hotel, the teacups in each room hadn't been washed, the towels hadn't been changed, and the basic bedding wasn't made – it was exactly as we had left it in the morning. Only tissues were replenished. I always choose Hanting when I visit China and have stayed many times, but this is the worst Hanting I've ever experienced.
