Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur

The environment is great, the service is good, and the hotel breakfast is delicious – much better than what you'd find at outside restaurants.

This was my worst experience at a star-rated hotel. The shower head was leaking everywhere, and the hot water temperature was unstable, screaming hot and then cold. Also, the daily cleaning standards varied significantly; some amenities were present one day, missing the next, and then a different standard applied the day after. The most crucial point is that some of the front desk staff had extremely poor attitudes. The location is excellent, and the overall facilities are good, but the details don't meet star-rated standards.

Oh my goodness! We went straight to the hotel after landing in Kuala Lumpur. We arrived four hours before the 3 PM check-in time, but the hotel welcomed us in the lobby right away. The bellboy was so cute and strong, which really made us feel warm and welcomed upon our arrival. When we got to the 53rd floor, the front desk found two Chinese-speaking staff members to assist us, and they were even a supervisor and a subordinate! It was truly touching. They helped us store our luggage, showed us to the restrooms, and let us choose an aromatherapy scent while offering iced tea and snacks. The whole process was polite, thoughtful, and gentle. When we checked into our room in the afternoon, we couldn't have been happier. It had a bathtub, double sinks, a smart toilet, a king-sized bed, a large sofa, and a spacious shower. In the afternoon, someone even came to turn down the bed and light an aromatherapy diffuser. The breakfast was incredibly exquisite – a combination of buffet and à la carte! Absolutely delicious! The hotel's location is superb, connected to Pavilion via a skybridge, so we didn't have to worry about sun or rain when going in and out. It truly maximized our sense of happiness and relaxation during the trip! Most importantly, we had an unobstructed view of the Petronas Twin Towers and all of Kuala Lumpur. Jalan Alor was right behind Pavilion; it's such a prime location! I highly, highly recommend Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur!

The rooftop is really nice! If you're looking for great photos, the sofa area is a prime spot. The hotel breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Plus, the hotel is connected to a mall on the first floor, with clear signs making it super convenient.

The hotel has been open for quite a while, and there aren't many brand-new hotels in Kuala Lumpur anyway. Being a Banyan Tree, it's a reputable brand that is friendly to Chinese guests—unlike some other places—and the service is generally attentive. The room facilities are a bit dated and not particularly luxurious, but the housekeeping and the daily signature essential oils are quite nice. Breakfast is a semi-buffet with à la carte options, which feels quite refined and personally, I was quite satisfied with it.

Great location and decent-sized rooms, though the view was a bit underwhelming. Everything else was good.

The hotel has a Chinese-speaking front desk, and the service was good. The room was decent, and the breakfast was excellent. There's a direct walkway from the hotel to Pavilion Mall.
