Novotel Cairo El Borg

The hotel has a fantastic location, making it easy to get anywhere. Taxis are readily available, and the subway is just a 5-7 minute walk away. We booked a city view room, but they gave us a free upgrade to a Nile view room instead. The hotel itself is decent, though the rooms are a bit dated. The staff are attentive and speak English quite well. Since it's right by the promenade, it can get pretty noisy at night from both the traffic and pedestrians. The soundproofing in the rooms could be better.

It was a truly wonderful and beautiful experience. Easy check-in and check-out, and the staff were very kind, helpful, and cheerful. The service and cleanliness were excellent. Thank you, Novotel, it definitely won't be my last stay.

This hotel is located on Gezira Island in Cairo. The lobby is quite small and a bit cramped. It has a very small pool and a rooftop restaurant with views overlooking the Nile. The air conditioning was a bit noisy, and the Wi-Fi speed was very slow. Also, even after my taxi had arrived, the front desk still insisted on asking me to give them a good rating on Google Maps.

The hotel is right on the Nile, and the environment is quite good. You can see the Cairo Tower from your window. Plus, they have three-pin sockets, so you don't need an adapter at all. The only downside is that they don't provide toothbrushes or slippers, so you'll need to bring your own. The breakfast was plentiful and tasted good too.

The hotel is beautiful and has an amazing view overlooking the Nile and the Zamalek promenade. There are also restaurants and cafes within a 5-minute walk from the hotel.

Exceptional! Absolutely excellent. The staff are cheerful, kind, highly respectful, and professional. Everyone treats you like family, as if you're the owner of the place. My greetings and thanks to my two honorable and respected daughters, Miss Aya and Miss Menna, and to Mr. Khaled, the restaurant manager, and to all the staff. The location is superb. The views from the back rooms towards Cairo Tower are no less wonderful and beautiful than the views from the front rooms overlooking the magnificent Nile. The breakfast buffet is rich and varied with appetizers, salads, fruits, pastries, natural juice, and a cappuccino machine, but there are few hot dishes. God willing, we will have future visits to this outstanding location.
