Danang Marriott Resort & Spa

This was the most comfortable and enjoyable hotel we stayed at in Vietnam. The environment is beautiful and very clean, and the room assigned by the handsome guy at the front desk was perfect! The swimming pool is right outside our door. We booked a sea-view room with an ocean view, so it was quite expensive. However, the same room on other platforms, like Gaode or [Platform Name Redacted], offered the same sea-view room with double breakfast for significantly less on the same day. So, Ctrip definitely seems to be price gouging loyal customers. We compared prices on Gaode and found it to be much cheaper. The last four pictures show the price comparison! It's worth comparing prices across multiple platforms before booking.

We booked a four-bedroom sea view room, which can accommodate up to 9 people. Do not give extra passports. The beds are all very large, about 2 meters wide. The hotel environment is beyond words, absolutely beautiful, and the breakfast was very rich, including eggs Benedict. However, the room decor is a bit dated, especially the footboard of the bed, which has an anti-human design. Four of us bumped our feet on it, so be very careful.

Stayed at the Marriott for a week, and the breakfast was outstanding – a huge variety of international options, from Vietnamese and Japanese to Indian cuisine. The bread selection was also excellent. Even with high occupancy, Nancy and her team provided superb, attentive service, always going out of their way to accommodate special requests. Truly a top-notch team!

A wonderful hotel on the outskirts of Da Nang. When I booked, I thought the room decor looked a bit outdated, but that's not the case at all! The room is fantastic: high ceilings, comfortable mattresses, and solid hardwood furniture. In the evenings, they bring small treats like dried fruit. The breakfasts are incredibly varied, offering both European and traditional Vietnamese dishes, various coffees, and even ice cream. The food at the beach bar is also excellent. The price is high compared to other 4-5 star hotels in Vietnam. Here, you experience tranquility and relaxation, with many areas for unwinding (pools, hammocks, bean bags). There's also a kids' club. If you want to dive into the chaos and vibrant city life, it's about a 15-20 minute drive, and taxis arrive quickly. There are only 16 sun loungers on the beach, but you can always find a spot, as most guests are European and Korean, with few Russian speakers who tend to occupy loungers all day. The spa center is top-notch.

The front desk staff recognized me as a returning guest during check-in and very kindly arranged a room for me on the 6th floor, with a central sea view. The view was superb, and the service was as excellent as always. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety of options. The only minor drawback was the lack of hotel-provided children's swimming floats for borrowing; I had seen sand toys before, but unfortunately, they weren't available this time either.

This hotel has a great atmosphere. The rooms and beds are very comfortable. All the staff are friendly. There are many swimming pools and a beautiful beach with fine sand. When I booked, I selected 3 people, and they proactively set up an extra bed for us, which was excellent service. The breakfast was also very rich. It's an ideal hotel for a beach and swimming holiday. The only downsides are the limited and expensive food options at the hotel, and its distance from the city center. It takes over 20 minutes by taxi to get to Da Nang city center. Personally, I think Da Nang's beach scenery is nice, but the dining and urban development in the city center are far behind Ho Chi Minh City. If you like relaxing on the beach and swimming, you could stay here for a few more days. For the last two days, we moved to VOCO near My Khe Beach, which was more convenient for city walks. That beach was livelier and more crowded, whereas the Marriott was quieter, less crowded, and a bit remote.

Special thanks to Matin, the Front Desk Manager, for his passion for work. This Marriott hotel truly embodies a vacation vibe with its private beach and five distinct swimming pools. The rooms are incredibly spacious, and the facilities meet a solid five-star standard.

Although it's a bit far from Da Nang city center, the beachfront location was fantastic. Getting around was easy with Grab. The room was cleaned regularly, and the breakfast had a great variety and was delicious.
