"Very nice hotel with a large public bath and good facilities (gym, pool etc.). Breakfast is great and they provide the Niigata rice cooked in the traditional way, a must try! Just that there is a distance from the JR station and one of the crossings to get there requires a go up bridge. But you can go around it to avoid it."

"I chose this hotel because of its reputation as an old-school establishment, but I was a little disappointed.
1. I have a permanent residence in Japan, so it's understandable that the front desk would ask for my residence card. However, they also insisted on making a copy of my ID, which no other hotel in Japan has ever done, and I found that quite perplexing.
2. There were still hairs from the previous guest stuck to the shampoo bottle in the bathroom, which is simply unacceptable. I wanted to ask the front desk about it, but I was too tired in the evening to even bother.
3. On the bright side, the breakfast was quite good and varied, and the window seats offered a nice view of the city."

Besides Seven Eleven store and about 40 meters distance walking to Yoshinoya.
Many food shops around South ,West,East entrance.
Bic Camera just across street.

"As other reviews have said, the breakfast here was delicious, and the French toast and omelettes were top-notch. It's also convenient for getting around Niigata city, and the prices are reasonable. It's old, but we liked the retro feel. The exterior, which reminded us of a large cruise ship, was also nice."

"Direct access to the Sado Kisen ferry terminal from inside the hotel, so no need to go out in the rain. It's about a 15-minute walk to Bandai Bridge. Breakfast is 2800 yen, which isn't cheap, but the curry is pretty good. I got a free room upgrade when I checked in, which was lucky. There's also a direct elevator to the observation deck. The hotel building also houses the Korean and Russian consulates. Both the room and the observation deck offer nice views."

"Nice hotel withe rooms of various sizes. For me it was spacious enough. Bed was comfortable, would have liked one more cushion.
Room was clean an I liked that i could open the window. It was quite hot in the room because the heater was turned on. Even if i turned it off hot air came out.
Room was clean and had everything i needed. You can also get things at the front desk.
Breakfast was buffetstyle and really very good with a lot of choises, both Japanese, local and western.
Location was very convenient near the train station. About max a 5 minutes walk. Near the hotel there are a lot of places to eat or have a drink. At the station is a shopping mall."

"there was a high-pitched ringing sound on 1 side of the building. it was painful. even after switching to the other side of the building, there's constant noise from the ventilation system. it was too loud on the top floor.
the breakfast was really good. fish, eggs, fresh vegetables, fermented vegetables, yogurt, juice, etc. coffee and ice were always available but tea was only available during breakfast and after 15:00."

TTravellingAllTheTimeThe premium queen room is fantastic. On the high floor with a lovely view of the mountains. Hotel is close to a shopping mall called Love La with Uniqlo, Muji, GU, CanDo and Aeon supermarket. There are also familymart and Lawson nearby. Food wise, McDonald’s and Matsuya (24hours) are walking distance 5mins. Room is quiet and great to stay!

厨厨二病の蟹さんThe hotel service was excellent, and the front desk staff were very friendly. Dinner was a set menu, and breakfast was a buffet. The food was decent. The hot spring could accommodate about ten people. It's a good leisure option for travelers.

經經常去日本旅遊的人The hotel rooms are very spacious, which is a rarity in Japan! The parking lot also has ample space, and it's located near major roads, making it highly recommended for families. Excellent value for money!

Zz_._.__kThe most attractive aspect of this hotel was its incredibly low price. The fact that it included breakfast and access to the hot springs at this price was truly exceptional. The hotel and guest rooms were clean, making for a comfortable stay. The room was larger than I expected, which was a plus. Furthermore, there were amenities like a table tennis room, which added to the enjoyment.
The location wasn't bad either; there were restaurants and convenience stores within a few minutes' drive, so I didn't feel any inconvenience.
I didn't have any major complaints, except that the large size of the facility meant it took a little time to reach my room, which was a minor concern. Even considering that, the cost performance was excellent, and I would definitely like to stay here again.

ままーーなI used this hotel for a trip to attend a live concert. I arrived around 10 PM on a weekday, and the parking lot was full, so I parked in a nearby coin-operated parking lot.
The room was very clean and well-maintained. The rice balls and miso soup for breakfast were delicious. The rice balls were small, came in many varieties, and were easy to eat. I would definitely use this hotel again if I have another opportunity to travel for a concert.

IIYAClean and comfortable, very suitable for family travel, parking is also convenient. In short, it is highly recommended for parents and children. If you drive in Xinyi, choose this one, the service is great!

Aao3I often stay at Livemax when I travel to other regions. It's very close, about a 3-minute walk from Niigata Station after taking the direct limousine bus from the airport. The return bus stop for the airport, number 18, is also nearby, so it's easy to move around even with a suitcase. The front desk staff are very polite in their explanations. Since it was just one night, the room was spacious enough, most amenities were included, and the facilities had been newly replaced, so it was comfortable.
Also, there is a microwave here, so it's great to be able to heat up the local food you take home!
The elevators are crowded at check-out time, as mentioned in the reviews, but I checked out at 9:50 and it didn't affect me.
I think it's fine as long as you check out a little outside of peak hours.
If I have the chance to come to Niigata, I'll use it again.

MMoshengjunThe hotel itself is not bad. When I checked in, because the Japanese hotels were very rigid, I needed to wait until three o'clock to check in. I went to store my luggage in the morning and then continued to travel. The room is still a bit small, especially a lot of items need to be picked up on the first floor, which is slightly inconvenient; The heated microwave oven is not on the floor of the room I stayed in, a bit tossing! The breakfast is really good, the restaurant has a good view and the food is rich and delicious. But the opening time of the big bath is not understandable, men can't take a bath in the morning~ can be at night! I checked out late at noon, and the front desk also charged me two hours more. In fact, it didn't take that long, so the overall impression was greatly reduced!

IivankangParking is free, breakfast is available, and young male staff are very good at guide. It was good.
Just the first floor is not soundproof in the single room, but did you come on a business trip? Everyone write quietly.
I was feeling good.
There is a spicy ramen shop next to it, so it's good to have a grass.
