Nanjing Centre Hotel

The hotel looks decent, and the location is pretty good. The breakfast is alright, especially the Central Big Bao – that was delicious! However, the rooms facing the street were a bit noisy and not very comfortable for sleeping.

The overall environment is good, and I understand not allowing food delivery directly to the room. However, there are very few staff members at night, and food deliveries weren't brought up to my room; I had to go downstairs to pick them up myself. I suggest the lobby have a robot to deliver food to guests.

The location is fantastic! It's right behind the Presidential Palace and the 1912 food street, and there's a subway station right next door, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The hotel has a unique Republic of China-era style, which is really charming, though the room was a bit on the small side. The breakfast was exquisite and delicious.

Clean and tidy, I really liked the hotel's decor – it had a charming Republic of China era vibe, haha. The room we booked was quite small, but it had everything we needed, and the facilities were very new. Overall, it was good. Recommended.

During the Chinese New Year, I took my family to Nanjing and stayed at the Nanjing Central Hotel. The hotel itself is a historical building, and we chose it specifically for this unique feature. We booked three rooms, but when we tried to check in at 4 PM, no rooms were available, which was a bit disappointing. One room was upgraded to a suite, but the other two weren't ready until 5:30 PM. The front desk offered complimentary breakfast and afternoon tea as an apology. While I understand it was Chinese New Year, I hope they can improve their efficiency next time! One room had a strong sewage odor from the bathroom, but the front desk quickly arranged a room change, which I really appreciate. The hotel is full of Republic of China charm and character. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the breakfast is quite good. If I visit Nanjing again, I'll definitely choose this hotel.

A great hotel with a fantastic location and unique style, definitely worth staying at. The small details inside the hotel are well-thought-out, like the vintage-style shower switches and the old-fashioned elevators. It's a great place to bring kids for an experience. Plus, it's very close to the Presidential Palace.
