Given Singapore's higher prices compared to my home country, I lowered my expectations before arriving, and frankly, it turned out pretty decent, though it certainly can't compete with many places back home.
First, the positives: the location is excellent. Many popular Singapore attractions are within walking distance, and exploring on foot is quite convenient. Plus, Raffles City is right downstairs, offering easy access to food and shopping.
Now, about the hotel itself: it's actually split into North and South towers, a detail I didn't catch on the Trip.com page. The South Tower is older, which you can tell from the carpet. However, I have to say, their cleanliness seemed spot-on, so it's well-maintained. My kids are prone to allergies, but they didn't have any issues. So, despite an initial communication snag, we stayed in the South Tower as originally booked. The North Tower might be more updated, though.
The location is great, but it's quite noisy. I was offered a room on the 8th floor of the North Tower, but I prioritized quietness and didn't push for the switch – and I'm probably lucky I didn't. On Christmas Eve, the singing from downstairs continued until 2-3 AM, and we were on a high floor... we could still hear it! So, I guess there are pros and cons. On the bright side, the room was quite spacious, giving both kids plenty of room to play without feeling cramped. Overall, I'd say it was pretty good.

The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of Merlion Park and the National Gallery. It's also right next to Raffles City, making shopping incredibly convenient. Our room had a balcony with stunning views. The hotel service was also great. Highly recommended!

Great service. Greeted warmly the moment our cab reached Fairmont. Turndown service further surprised our family upon our return from Halloween Nights with bathroom slippers next to our beds and bottles filled up with drinking water. We have totally enjoyed our staycation during our stay.
Our children happy with amenities for kids, and we were excited to see a yoga mat as well as receiving cake goe my hubby's birthday celebration.

The hotel's location is excellent, directly facing Marina Bay Sands. You can see the Merlion right from the balcony. The subway station is downstairs, and Raffles City shopping mall is also in the same building, offering a wide array of options including TWG, Bacha Coffee, Ya Kun Kaya Toast, convenience stores, and various restaurants. It's only a 10-minute walk to Suntec City or Bugis. The breakfast spread is also very rich, featuring Chinese, Western, and Indian cuisine. The service is attentive, and all the check-in instructions were very clear and helpful.
