Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau

I've been wanting to stay at Grand Lapa Macau for a long time, and finally, it was time. I used a voucher I bought during the 9.19 sale and paid an extra fee to stay during the National Day holiday. This was our first time in Macau. Getting from Chimelong to Hengqin Port was incredibly convenient – I'm so envious of the people of Zhuhai! Since there wasn't a direct shuttle to Sands on the Peninsula, we took a taxi directly to the hotel, which cost 130 MOP. We checked in at the hotel but couldn't get our room key until after 3 PM. So, we went to the street behind the hotel for lunch. Both Xinghai and Dieji had great food and were very close by. We finally got our room key around 3:30 PM. Children under 12 could get an extra bed for free. My package included a 500 MOP dining voucher. When I checked in, the front desk told me that for two nights, I'd get 1000 MOP in dining vouchers, which could be used at the hotel's restaurants. The next day, we had lunch and bought bread at the hotel, and then the front desk called to say there was only a 500 MOP dining voucher. Later, with the help of Trip.com, the hotel confirmed that they had given incorrect information during check-in but also confirmed the 1000 MOP dining voucher. In short, I'm very grateful for Trip.com's help. Grand Lapa is next to Sands but doesn't have a casino, so it's very quiet. The resort's pool and children's play area are both excellent, and it's very close to the Science Center. We even watched the National Day fireworks show in the pouring rain. Our first impression of Macau: it's not a large place, and it's all about lavish indulgence. We had our child with us, so we didn't get a chance to visit any casinos. The Venetian, Parisian, and Londoner were all packed with people. The Wynn Palace cable car is highly recommended. The shuttle buses are very convenient. Make sure to visit the Ruins of St. Paul's early. Rua da Cunha is tiny. New Yaohan is worth browsing. Next time, I want to experience the City of Dreams Water Park.

The room was quite spacious, featuring both a bathtub and a shower, and the toiletries provided were good quality. Overall, it was pretty quiet. There's a swimming pool, but we didn't get to enjoy it since we forgot our swimsuits and the water felt a bit cold in the evening. The staff were all very polite and had great attitudes. It's just a few minutes' walk to Fisherman's Wharf, which is super convenient.

Everything was great. The toiletries were excellent. Right outside the hotel's back entrance, there's a Sands shuttle bus, and public transportation is also very convenient. The only thing is that you have to cross a pedestrian bridge to get to the main entrance, but there's an elevator. Luggage storage is available and very convenient. There's also a shuttle service to the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge port. The hotel is located near the Lotus Square.

The hotel is located right next to the Science Center and the Grand Prix Museum, making it a great place to stay with kids. The staff were all very warm and polite. The restaurant is beautiful—we really liked it. The hotel has three swimming pools, which my kid absolutely loved; they're open until 10 PM. Every day after being out and about, we’d come back to take a swim and soak in the hot spring. It truly felt like a proper vacation.
