JW Marriott Hotel Tashkent

Everything was great, the hotel is wonderful, and breakfast was divine. But there's one significant drawback! They don't know how to make cocktails – they taste bad and are very expensive. This seems to be a problem throughout the city, as we tried different restaurants and talked to local bartenders – they try their best to make cocktails, but they just don't turn out well… 🤦🏼‍♀️ The alcohol selection is also quite limited….

This hotel is new, modern, and beautiful, located in the very heart of Tashkent. It's right next to a mall and a park with singing fountains – perfect for a morning run or an evening stroll. There's an excellent spa on the 5th floor with an infinity pool. I highly recommend staying here!

Unpleasantly surprised. The location is good, and the breakfasts were varied, though some items like strawberries weren't refilled after they ran out, and the blueberries had mold. The interior is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, and there's no noise (we had a corner room). However, there were some issues: the curtains don't close completely, letting light in from the sides, so it's never totally dark. Also, the sink was clogged, and the water wouldn't drain. For the price, the minibar in the room (non-alcoholic drinks) was ridiculously expensive. I booked this hotel specifically for my birthday, hoping to go to the spa, relax, etc. (The hotel didn't even acknowledge my birthday, by the way). It turns out the spa has a long waiting list, and apparently, anyone off the street can access it, not just hotel guests. You need to book several (!!!) weeks in advance! I couldn't get an appointment, and guess what the front desk suggested? To go to the Hilton or find another spa... Shocking service. Upon check-out, they even charged me 1000 rubles for a kettle of tea. Overall, I'm surprised. We moved to another hotel, and I have no desire to return to this one.

A magnificent new hotel with a great city view, breakfast, and pool. The room was perfect. The service staff isn't quite up to the hotel's standard yet, but I hope that's just a matter of time.

Everything was great. It's a new hotel, very clean. The service was 10/10, as was the breakfast (10/10) and the gym (10/10). The location is very convenient, right next to a shopping mall, which is a plus. The room was spacious, and the spa was excellent (10/10).

We stayed at the JW Marriott Tashkent, and it truly lived up to our expectations. The first thing that stands out is the breakfast. It's excellent: various types of lightly salted fish, fresh berries, tropical fruits, and freshly squeezed juices. Everything is high-quality, without feeling mass-produced or cheap. The hotel itself is new with a recent renovation – everything looks modern and well-maintained, not tired at all. The rooms are comfortable and pleasant to be in. The spa area deserves a special mention: it's decent, clean, and peaceful, a great place to relax. And a huge plus is the staff. They are very customer-oriented; you can feel the high level of service, not just formality. Comparing it to the Hyatt Regency Tashkent, for me, the JW Marriott is noticeably superior in every aspect: both in atmosphere and quality. Overall: one of the best options in Tashkent, a place I'd love to return to.
