My recent stay at this hotel was marred by four serious and unacceptable issues. Furthermore, I suspect the hotel may be unfriendly towards Ctrip bookings or Chinese guests, so please exercise your own judgment.
1. I booked two deluxe suites, but upon check-in, a local female front desk staff member assigned us two standard rooms on the 13th floor.
2. After I discovered the sneaky downgrade, I called the front desk and demanded to be moved to a higher-category room with a view. They did switch our rooms to the 12th and 14th floors, but to this day, the hotel has not issued an official apology for the front desk staff's actions, nor has she apologized herself. Figures 2 and 3 clearly show the rooms are different; even the bathrooms had discrepancies.
3. The washing machine in room 1403 had a broken dryer function (Figure 5). I specifically chose this hotel over others because of the availability of a washing machine. Moreover, no laundry detergent was provided, which is something even domestic Atour hotels manage to offer.
4. The assigned floor was the lowest possible floor. I'm unsure if this was aimed at Ctrip customers or Chinese guests in general.
Throughout my trip, I stayed exclusively in five-star hotels, and this was the only one where I felt the value for money was far worse than a domestic four-star, while all the others were excellent. Clearly, this is an isolated incident with this particular hotel, not an issue with the local service industry standards.
Based on all of the above, I do not recommend staying here.
