Staying at the InterContinental Changsha North Star was an absolutely fantastic experience! The hotel lobby is grand and elegant, with a massive crystal chandelier that exudes quality. As soon as you step in, you can feel the InterContinental's distinctive style. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the room offer an incredible view, overlooking the 'Three Museums and One Hall' and the Xiang River. The river sparkles beautifully, and the city's architecture stretches out before your eyes. The location is exceptionally prime. Right downstairs, you'll find the Changsha Museum, Library, and Planning Exhibition Hall. Strolling along the riverside promenade is very pleasant. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding comfortable, and the staff were polite, attentive, and quick to respond. Whether admiring the Xiang River scenery during the day or waiting for the illuminated river views at night, both are incredibly photogenic. For travel or business in Changsha, the InterContinental North Star is an excellent choice. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Changsha!

The hotel is located at the beautiful confluence of the Xiangjiang River and Liuyang River. The stunning views from the 23rd floor are unobstructed, and the Three Halls and One Pavilion are just downstairs, within walking distance! Beichenhui being right next door is incredibly convenient! The Xiang Xiu Chinese Restaurant within the hotel offers authentic and affordable cuisine, and the floor attendants are diligent, warm, and provide excellent service! The breakfast is plentiful and varied! Especially the rice noodles, a favorite of Changsha locals, taste truly authentic! The front desk even thoughtfully upgraded our room when they saw we had a child with us, making for a very comfortable experience! Many thanks to InterContinental Changsha! And thanks to the lovely front desk staff for upgrading our room! We will definitely choose InterContinental Changsha Beichen again next time we visit Changsha!

This established hotel truly boasts an excellent location, right at the confluence of the Xiangjiang and Liuyang Rivers, offering stunning river views day and night. The furnishings are well-maintained and comfortable to stay in. I particularly loved the bathroom design; it's much more user-friendly than those in newly developed hotels. Though it's an older property, it has a classic, old-money feel. The Xiang Xiu Chinese restaurant is also quite good. My only regret is that my child's swim cap and goggles went missing from the changing room at the pool.

I brought my elderly relatives to stay during the National Day holiday and specifically requested a quiet room on a high floor. Suzy and Iris contacted me beforehand and helped me with the room arrangements. The hotel's bathroom anti-slip measures were meticulously done, and breakfast included congee and soft food options. During the day, we avoided the crowds and visited the Three Museums and One Hall, then came back to relax with a bath. My relatives enjoyed their stay and said it was much more comfortable than being squeezed into the city center.

You can always count on the quality and service at Intercontinental. Our flight was in the evening, so after checking out, we relaxed in the executive lounge until it was time to leave. The staff there were very thoughtful. A big thank you to Rarity for looking after us since check-in.

The room facilities are well-maintained, and the service is good. The breakfast is a real highlight, with a great variety of options. The location is also excellent, just a 5-minute walk from the Three Pavilions. The only downside is that the pool seems to be outsourced, and it can get quite crowded.

I stayed in an executive balcony room this time. From before check-in to after, all the staff were enthusiastic and communicative. Special shout-out to Lily and Rarity at the lounge; the lounge environment was also excellent. All the staff were very professional, and it was a quiet, perfect place to pass the time. If the weather wasn't too hot, you could even sit outside, enjoy a drink, and watch the river view with the breeze.

The hotel is surrounded by various dining options, and the environment is lovely. It's also very close to the riverside, just a few steps away, which is perfect for morning and evening strolls. The breakfast was also very substantial.

This is my third time staying at InterContinental Changsha, and it's still as good as ever. Before I even arrived, I proactively contacted Rarity from the Club Lounge, and she immediately noted my preferences and arranged the room accordingly. Throughout my stay, I received warm hospitality from every staff member. In particular, the Executive Lounge service was fantastic and pleasantly surprising. The lounge offerings were richer than before. On the last night, during happy hour, I couldn't eat spicy food or beef. The lounge staff, Miss Zhang Xinyi, immediately had the chef specially prepare a bowl of tomato and egg noodles for me. It was incredibly thoughtful! I hope the lounge continues to get even better. Chen Liyun, from housekeeping, was also very meticulous and attentive, providing us with a clean and comfortable living environment. My husband and I were reluctant to leave and hope to return again if we get the chance.
