The breakfast restaurant staff had a terrible attitude; they actually questioned whether I was a guest! The restaurant hygiene was awful, there was a centipede crawling on the table!

Ascott's offerings are consistently good, and the value for money is absolutely incredible. The bathtub was unbelievably huge. Plus, there's a highly-rated Cantonese restaurant across the street that's a must-try according to Dianping.

Facilities: The room was huge and spacious, fully equipped. I just didn't expect it not to have central air conditioning, but rather one of those old-fashioned jacuzzi tubs. It felt like something from the last century, so I didn't even use it. Hygiene: It was cleaned very thoroughly, you could tell they put a lot of effort into it. Environment: Even though it's in the city center, it felt very quiet. The environment was fantastic. Service: Very good. They gave us breakfast vouchers, which was a nice touch, even though we didn't end up using them.

Great location with plenty of local snacks nearby. The service was quite good, even during the National Day holiday, and the surroundings were very quiet. The only downside was that the shower area in the two-bedroom guest bathroom was a bit small and didn't have a wet/dry separation.

Have been staying in this hotel since 15 years ago . Room maybe dated but very well maintained . Breakfast dishes lack variety and coffee was bad .
