Sheraton Guangzhou Panyu

Right next to the Avenue of Stars, and really close to the Hong Kong Coliseum for concerts, making it super convenient for getting around.

This is the best hotel I've stayed at near Chimelong. The service at Sheraton, and the room environment were both excellent, with nothing to complain about. We could even see the Canton Tower right from our window. The hotel breakfast deserves special mention; it was absolutely fantastic, offering almost every style of Cantonese dim sum. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Guangzhou.

My first impression was how dirty the room was. Yellow stains on the toilet are really unacceptable. The ensuite bathroom had a horrible sewage smell, which was also really unacceptable. There was dust in many hard-to-reach corners of the room; I understand it can be tough to clean, but it just felt old and uncomfortable to stay in. The soundproofing in the suite was terrible. There's a door in the living room area, and you could hear everything from the neighboring room. Very poor privacy. The executive lounge only offered good quality fruit; the food and drinks were nowhere near Marriott standards – completely subpar. On the bright side, the staff were all kind and polite. I strongly advise against staying here; there are much better options nearby.

Quite convenient, close to Guangzhou South Railway Station. Overall, it's pretty decent, I think it's good. Nothing really stood out though, as I'm changing hotels every day. Keep up the good work!

The room was spacious and the bedding was very comfortable. The double vanity was super convenient for two people. The bathroom was roomy with a smooth flow between the wet and dry areas, all in a lovely natural wood and warm-toned style. Breakfast was substantial, like having a full brunch! I didn't get to check out the gym or pool, but this hotel would be perfect whether you're traveling for business or leisure. It's also a short walk to Sihai City, which has tons of restaurant options in the evening.

I checked into the Sheraton Aoyuan late at night, and surprisingly, there were still quite a few people at the front desk. However, the overall check-in efficiency and service attitude were excellent. The front desk staff were very nice; even though there were no king rooms left, they proactively upgraded my room type, which was a great experience. The upgraded room offered a fantastic view. Although it was a city view, I happened to catch it after a rain shower, and it looked beautiful. The room was also very spacious, making for a comfortable stay. Before I headed upstairs, the staff even gave me extra bottles of water, which was a thoughtful touch. When I checked out the next afternoon, I took a little extra time to pack, but the hotel didn't rush me. The overall service felt just right – warm without being intrusive, providing all the necessary care. The bathtub in the room was large, and the bathing experience was very comfortable. What impressed me most was the shower room; I'm not sure if it was my imagination, but it felt like there was underfloor heating, which was incredibly pleasant underfoot. That detail really added to the experience. Overall, this stay exceeded my expectations, especially the service, room spaciousness, and bathroom experience, all of which I was very satisfied with.

The room was very clean, and we were upgraded to a suite, which was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was also delightful. Great views!
