Dianchi Garden Resort Hotel & Spa

For the past 19 years, whenever I'm in Kunming, I've always stayed at this hotel 🏨. The environment, cleanliness, and service are all excellent! For this family trip with my elderly parents and kids, I didn't hesitate to choose it again!!!

This was our second hotel stay in Kunming. It's close to Dianchi Lake, so the air is fresh and invigorating. The hotel itself is quite spacious with beautiful surroundings, almost like a big garden; we even saw a little squirrel during our walk. The staff are very service-minded, and there was always someone to help with luggage during check-in and check-out. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and there's a free heated swimming pool. You can walk to Haigeng Park to take the cable car up to the Western Hills & Dragon Gate scenic area.

Stayed in the family room for three days. I have to say the hotel environment is excellent, the service is comprehensive, and the breakfast fully meets all needs. It's also very close to both the train station and the airport. Highly recommended!

An older hotel that's not very well-maintained, with many outdated facilities. The surroundings are beautiful, as the hotel is located within a garden. Cleanliness was fine, but the room was too dark, which gave it a less pleasant feel. Breakfast was good. The service was impeccable, as expected from an established four-star hotel. Parking was convenient, and the swimming pool was just okay.

This hotel boasts an excellent location and a truly stunning environment, making it perfect for families traveling with children or elderly relatives. I recall staying at this hotel in Kunming about seven or eight years ago, and it was quite expensive, around 800 RMB. This time, I got it for about 400 RMB, but the facilities are noticeably outdated, which did detract a bit from the in-room experience. Luckily, we were mostly out sightseeing and didn't spend much time in the room, just for showering and sleeping. If you're particular about bedding quality, you might be a bit disappointed. However, if that's not a major concern, it's definitely worth staying. The hotel's small garden is absolutely beautiful, and the overall landscape is fantastic, giving it a very therapeutic feel. Stepping out of the hotel, you just cross the road and you're at Haigeng Park – it's incredibly convenient! 👍 Considering all of the above, at this price point, it's still a very good deal.

This is a beautiful hotel with a fantastic environment, very close to Haigeng Park. It's incredibly convenient for everything – food, shopping, and transportation. There are also many attractions nearby, and the dining options offer great value for money! I'll definitely come back again. The hotel has a hot spring swimming pool, which is great for a daily swim. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey, but other than that, no complaints!

The hotel is conveniently located right next to Dianchi Lake, just a 5-minute walk from Haigeng Park. The surroundings are beautiful, making it perfect for relaxation. Facilities: Not brand new, but comprehensive. Hygiene: Generally very clean, and breakfast offers a good selection.
