Far exceeded expectations! I thought such an old hotel would be quite run-down, but the rooms and facilities are extremely well-maintained. The service was especially wonderful—every staff member was so cheerful and happy, which really put us in a great mood too.

This hotel is truly massive, with its own private beach and coastline. The ocean view is fantastic—listening to the waves crashing in rhythmically was both mesmerizing and visually stunning. The grounds are expansive and beautifully landscaped, featuring lush lawns and a long stretch of coastline. The rooms are also bright, sunny, and very comfortable. The only downside was dining at the hotel's restaurants, which I found quite expensive. However, if you turn left just outside the beach area, there are a few privately owned local restaurants that are much more affordable. That's a great dining option if you're looking for a better deal. There are multiple swimming pools on-site, and the main pool is quite large—probably around 30 to 40 meters long—making it great for a relaxing swim. Overall, the hotel offers great value for money and is definitely worth recommending. If you enjoy the outdoors, taking strolls, and soaking up the sun, this place is an excellent choice.

The hotel boasts numerous sculptures and murals with a Southeast Asian flair. Outside, there's a massive pond and lush greenery. The rooms are reminiscent of Southern French style, very clean. Sitting on the balcony, you can listen to the sound of water, which is very relaxing. The breakfast downstairs is also quite good.

A very beautiful hotel. We booked a Singaraja benefit room, which turned out to be a bit underwhelming—mostly just soft drinks, and the afternoon tea and happy hour were just so-so, though to be fair, there is the higher-tier Club lounge above it, haha. One day we went snorkeling and had to leave extra early, so we asked the front desk to prepare a breakfast box, but it only had a few pieces of fruit and some bread. Compared to their lavish regular breakfast, this option was a bit of a letdown. Overall, highly recommended!

The hotel's service, garden landscape, Jimbaran sea view, and lounge dining quality were all outstanding. Service was excellent across the board, from concierge to the restaurants. When I first arrived, a lady from the concierge noticed my taxi driver didn't have change and proactively helped him get some – that was wonderful. The lounge staff were warm and proactive every day, and the lounge food was high quality, delicious, and the ambiance was superb, really making for a perfect vacation feel. I had stayed at this InterContinental years ago and had a great impression then, but this time it felt even better, an upgrade! The hotel also upgraded me to a suite, which was very nice, really fantastic! Highly recommended!

The room was clean and tidy, the environment was great, and the staff were very friendly. The hotel beach was fantastic, perfect for a relaxing stroll in the morning and evening. There was also a BBQ available by the beach at night.

As always, the quality is top-notch, and there are fewer Asian guests. The pool is very clean and photo-worthy. Breakfast is decent, and the Sunset restaurant is highly recommended.
