Avani Museum Quarter Amsterdam Hotel

The panoramic canal view room was great, with excellent views. The room was quite spacious and well-designed, and the bedding was very comfortable. The hotel's location is also fantastic, most museums in the museum quarter are within a 10-minute walk. It's also in a relatively quiet residential area along the canal. Breakfast was delicious. I found the staff to be less than enthusiastic; their attitude could definitely be improved.

The location is super convenient; it's just a few hundred meters walk from the subway. The area is very safe and close to the Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, and Vondelpark, all within walking distance. The canal right in front of the hotel offers beautiful views. The hotel service is excellent. The staff were incredibly warm and patient, both when we arrived and when we departed. Breakfast was also great, very comfortable and the environment was pleasant. The room size was quite generous, nicely decorated and cozy. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I visit Amsterdam in the future.

The hotel is conveniently located about an 8-minute walk from the National Museum, and there's also a large Albert Heijn supermarket within an 8-minute walk. The canal view from the window, with boats, blue sky, and white clouds, was very pleasant. However, the room air conditioning was quite cold; the highest setting was 22 degrees Celsius, and it couldn't be turned off or adjusted higher. Even when 'off' was selected, it still ran. The room itself was relatively clean. The coffee capsules were a nice touch. The shower was good, but the handle holder was broken, and we didn't bother to report it for repair. The room TV only had three or four channels, but it was sufficient for watching shows. The breakfast was very rich and enjoyable. A taxi to the airport cost around 33 Euros. The hotel's location is great; you can walk from the hotel towards the museum all the way to Central Station. The front desk staff were all very polite. There were also jelly sweets at the front desk, which was fun. Check-in time was 3 PM, and we arrived early and waited an hour. Check-out was very strict, exactly at 12 PM. The hotel was fully booked on our check-out day, so we couldn't extend. The extension policy was 18 Euros per hour. Renting an umbrella from the hotel cost money. Overall, it was a good stay.

The hotel's location is excellent; it's within walking distance of the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. There's also a Lanzhou noodle restaurant and a small supermarket nearby, which is very convenient. If you opt out of daily room cleaning, you get a complimentary small drink, like a Coke or Fanta. Even without daily cleaning, you can still call to request fresh towels and other amenities. Breakfast on Sundays doesn't start until 8 AM.

This hotel pays great attention to small details: for example, the breakfast area provides ginger slices, tea, a microwave, fruit, and hot water for guests' convenience. The rooms also have electric kettles. The location is relatively convenient, and the room view facing the canal is nice. The front desk service is enthusiastic. However, the hygiene is a bit lacking: there's an odor in the hallway, and the bedside area hasn't been vacuumed in a while. Overall, the value for money isn't great, the bed isn't comfortable enough, and the duvet is too thin.

The hotel is located in the museum district, close to the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum. Our room offered a canal view, but it wasn't in the most iconic canal-side neighborhood; for a true canal experience, I'd recommend staying in the Canal District. Housekeeping was a bit sloppy – food crumbs were still on the carpet when we returned to the room in the evening. It was a small area rug in the sofa section, so it seems they just didn't vacuum it during cleaning. The room was quite spacious, but the amenities were basic. There was no desk, luggage rack, or luggage stand, so our suitcases had to stay on the floor, which felt inconsistent with the over 3000 RMB price tag. Front desk service was mediocre. Before checking in, I had a duplicate booking for two nights that I had accidentally reserved twice. Since it was a cancellable booking, I contacted the hotel to modify it (reduce by two nights) before arrival, but they refused to cooperate. Ctrip intervened multiple times with no success. Eventually, Ctrip arranged with another supplier to resolve the issue. I will not choose this hotel again.
