The Ritz-Carlton Beijing

This National Day holiday, we returned to Beijing, hoping once again to take our time strolling through the city's charming hutongs. After spending the first three days near Wangfujing and exploring most of the nearby alleys, we decided to stay at our all-time favorite hotel brand, The Ritz-Carlton. This time, we chose The Ritz-Carlton Beijing (China Central Place), and it certainly did not disappoint—it truly felt like coming home. This marks the ninth Ritz-Carlton property we've stayed at. We arrived around 1:00 PM and were warmly greeted at the front desk by Mr. Zheng. Since our room was still being prepared, he immediately invited us to relax and dine in the Executive Lounge. The lounge truly made us feel the warmth of home. The moment we stepped in, Ivy (Ms. Gong) welcomed us with great enthusiasm. Learning that we hadn't had lunch yet, she promptly arranged a meal for us. Upon discovering that someone in our party was celebrating a birthday that day, she had a birthday gift delivered to our room that afternoon, and the chef thoughtfully prepared birthday longevity noodles for dinner, which deeply touched the birthday guest. The next day, Chef Paul Yi noticed that one of us was suffering from dry, chapped lips due to the arid northern climate. He went out of his way to prepare a soothing balm and personally crafted herbal medicinal soups for two consecutive days to help her recover. We were incredibly moved—this is a level of care we have never experienced at any other hotel. Throughout our 3-day, 2-night stay, not only did Ivy and Chef Paul check in on us daily, but we were also warmly hosted by Coco and Amelia. As a supervisor, Coco is meticulous, detail-oriented, and highly responsible, and the rest of the lounge team provided genuine, hospitable service as well. We all agreed that we should have booked our stay at The Ritz-Carlton Beijing sooner! A heartfelt thank you to Coco and her entire team for their warm and sincere hospitality. We look forward to seeing you all again soon.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel features a classic British-style decor throughout, and the staff were exceptionally nice. Special thanks to Ava, Mia, and Ranky at the front desk for all their help. I will definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

Spacious bathroom, well-designed room layout, European style, and we got a free upgrade to a garden-view room. The soundproofing isn't great, and the only reason I'm docking half a star is that the toilet seat is smaller than the bowl. Housekeeping and the doormen were very prompt, noticeably better than similar properties. The breakfast is simple but of decent quality, with a few items rotating every other day. Located in a business district; if you're traveling with kids, Sanlitun is much more lively. They sell little plush lions next to the lobby.

The hotel is clean and tidy, and the staff are very friendly. It offers convenient transportation, great value for money, and is truly trustworthy. I stay here every time I visit Beijing. There are plenty of surrounding attractions and food options, and it's very convenient for attending meetings.

Staying here multiple times has always been incredibly convenient. The service is consistently excellent, the breakfast is plentiful, and getting around is a breeze. Every time, the bedding is brand new. Highly recommended!

Not bad. I've stayed at their Guangzhou location before, but I feel like the facilities here aren't as new as there. Today might have been a banquet, so it was a bit messy. The breakfast was good, tasty, and the environment was quiet. The coffee even had a cute Hello Kitty latte art. I reported an issue with the bathroom to the front desk, and they gave me a small lion charm. The turndown service was a big plus – many hotels have stopped offering it, but it definitely makes the stay feel warmer. However, there was no welcome amenity, which I think would have been a nice touch. When I first entered the room, the bathroom door was ajar and the bath mat wasn't spread out, which made it seem like it hadn't been properly prepared or perhaps someone had stayed there and wasn't satisfied, leading to a room change. This needs attention.

The decor is an elegant European palace style, the lobby has a pleasant aroma, and the fresh flowers in the lobby are beautiful. The hotel room is very spacious with plenty of cupboards and drawers, which is great for storing many items. It's only a few minutes' walk from SKP mall, making it a prime choice for shopping.

The hotel room was well-maintained with few signs of aging, and had a European palace-style decor. The bed was very soft. Service was excellent, with turn-down service every night, and both the room and bed smelled lovely. I slept incredibly well! Both the Western pastries and Chinese dim sum at breakfast were good. There was also Old Beijing style zhajiangmian (fried sauce noodles), and the yogurt was delicious! The hotel is conveniently located near SKP and China World Trade Center, making shopping and dining easy. China World has my 'Beijing wife' Fangzhuan Factory (a playful reference). Finally, a big thank you to Kevin for his warm service. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beijing!
