Beijing Xinqiao Hotel

Extremely convenient location for getting around, with the subway right at the entrance. Made traveling to attractions with the kids a breeze. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming! Cleanliness was good, and the soundproofing was decent too!

I chose this hotel because it's conveniently located near a subway station, based on my research. I opted for a themed room, but was quite disappointed upon checking in. When I checked in, I saw road construction outside during the day, and I was so relieved that we'd be out all day! However, the construction continued every night until the early morning. For several consecutive nights, my whole family was woken up by the noise, and I had to comfort my child when they woke up! The toilet kept running after flushing, and I had to open the tank to fix it every time. I called the general services desk in the middle of the night, asking them to transfer me to the front desk, but no one ever picked up. Sigh, what a waste of time! The mini-bar was decent though.

A bumpy ride. My room was next to the linen closet, which was noisy. I got a new room, but the window was completely blocked by a large sign. Finally, a manager intervened and I got a normal room. I hope some of the staff can familiarize themselves with their profession and improve their professionalism.

Today I'm on duty at work. It's scorching hot and there's no air conditioning in the office. It's really unbearable. I emergency chose this Xinqiao Hotel. Facilities: I chose a windowless non-smoking room. The size is decent, and the facilities are quite complete. This hotel has several Chinese and Western restaurants, so dining is quite convenient. Hygiene: The hotel's hygiene is good; it's relatively clean. I specifically chose a non-smoking room. Because it's windowless, the room is equipped with an air purifier. Environment: It's very close to my workplace, only about two or three hundred meters away. The environment is good. Service: The check-in service at this hotel was relatively quick. Room cleaning was also quite prompt, and check-out was fast. The breakfast service was also pretty good, I guess?

Ms. Yang Jie at the front desk was incredibly warm and helpful; she even upgraded my room! Five stars for her excellent service. While the facilities are a bit dated, the service truly makes up for it. The hotel is super convenient, right by a subway exit. As an older hotel, I understand the facilities might not be up to par, but the air conditioning was so loud it sounded like a tractor – I couldn't sleep with it on, so I had to turn it off. 😑

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the Exit of Metro Line 2. That's why I chose Xinqiao when I booked, and it definitely turned out to be the right choice. The metro is my top pick for getting to tourist attractions. Although the hotel is quite old, it's very well-maintained. The only downside this time was that the sink in my room drained a bit slowly, almost as if it was clogged. I hope they can improve that.

This is my go-to hotel for every business trip. It's conveniently located with easy access to transportation, close to the Temple of Heaven, and surrounded by shopping centers like Hademen Plaza. Aside from the TVs generally being a bit old, the other room facilities are great. The front desk staff are also very polite.

The front desk lady was very attentive. My second stay was still great. The location is excellent, right by the subway station. You can take bus 101 directly to the Temple of Heaven, and it's also within walking distance to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, not too far. The only downside is that the bathtub 🛁 is too small, and the water temperature fluctuates between cold and hot, and the water pressure is quite low. I even got cold water halfway through my shower, so I didn't dare to wash my hair. For hot pot nearby, I recommend Yayun Li Ji; it's good value for money and tastes decent.
