"The room size is able to fit for our couple easily. The bed, AC and the cleanliness are great. However, the shower room is quite too revealing for not the travel companion which is not close enough. But it is still good enough to not hesitate to book once again.
I have post the sign front of the hotel which very friendly for foreigner like us"

"The hotel has obvious pros and cons. The pros are that it meets standard five-star expectations. The rooms are generally good and spacious enough, perfect for families with two children as the bunk beds plus the large bed provide ample space. The location is excellent, right across from Chunxi Road. The breakfast is good, and there's a parking lot. The cons are also clear: the facilities are a bit old, the parking lot is narrow, it's not smart at all, and there aren't even enough power outlets. Checking in was also a bit cumbersome and required waiting."

"The service is fantastic. Cleaning lady was invisible but always available and thorough - the laundry service is fast and reliable, plus I received a free afternoon tea which was quite pleasant.
The hotel is located at the most convenient location, only 10 min walk from IFS but also not on the main street which made the hotel peaceful in the late hours."

"My stay at Mercure Chengdu Tai Koo Li Chunxi was a delightful surprise, especially when it came to the room's cleanliness. The room was thoroughly cleaned, the bedding was pristine and fluffy, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation with every corner and crevice spotless and odor-free. The public hallways were also consistently clean and fresh.
I particularly want to commend the front desk concierge. During check-in, they carefully inquired about my preferences and informed me about the room cleaning protocols. When I needed assistance during my stay, the concierge responded quickly and communicated patiently and politely.
The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of Tai Koo Li and Chunxi Road. With such clean rooms and the concierge's attentive follow-up, I felt secure and comfortable throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Chengdu."

"Choosing this hotel was a great decision. It's less than a 10-minute walk to the 'Climbing Panda' and the Naked-Eye 3D attraction. Basically, it's convenient for everything – whether you're taking the airport shuttle, a taxi, or the subway, it's all accessible. The surrounding area is bustling with plenty of options for dining and entertainment. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, always greeting us proactively. When we checked out, they even offered suggestions and disposable umbrellas because it was raining. Lastly, for the price, the breakfast spread was quite generous. I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit."

"Great value for money. It's located right in the city center pedestrian street, about a 6-minute walk from Chunxi Road Metro Station. (There's a tourist center there with many tour buses that go directly to Sanxingdui Museum, Mount Qingcheng, etc., though we didn't take them. It's a 30-minute subway ride to Chengdu East Station.) You can hail a taxi just a 2-minute walk from the hotel entrance. However, because it's in the city center, there can often be traffic jams during the day. Perhaps because we chose the cheapest room, there was no wardrobe, which made hanging clothes a bit inconvenient, but everything else was great. There's a small shop right outside the hotel selling fried tofu that is absolutely delicious. The ”Ghost Baozi” shop across the street opens at 6:00 AM and often has a queue during the day."

"I chose this hotel in Chengdu for my National Day holiday. The location is absolutely fantastic, with countless dining options –串串 (Sichuan skewers), hotpot, and stir-fries – all within a 500-meter radius. It's also within walking distance to Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li. The only minor issue was that the water pressure for showering could be a bit low during peak hours."

"This place is awesome! Very clean and a good location: The fresh air system (pictured) was especially a life saver because of the awful winter pollution. As a tip: when you actually get to the hotel, it’s called Jian Guo Hidden Hotel (not Xipu hidden culture hotel like it says on Trip.com app). This made finding the hotel a little difficult at first. My Didi dropped me off around the corner, so I had to walk a bit and use the map to figure out where exactly the hotel entrance was. After I found it, all was great."

"The order photos, especially those of the hotel building on the homepage, and the actual room were severely mismatched; the overall facilities were very old. The front desk area was tiny, and after checking in, you had to go around to an apartment behind the lobby. It's a renovation of an old building, with several hotels sharing one building. The promotion claimed it was near Tianfu Square, but the actual location isn't close; you have to go a long way around.
The positive was the thoughtful little touches. On the first night, they provided two bottles of milk, and there was a small gift at check-out. However, these are just minor perks that can't cover up the disparity in hardware and promotions.
If my child hadn't been too tired to move, I would have changed accommodation immediately. The platform kept asking about my stay experience, and I can only say it was very mediocre. The facilities are too old. For the same price, you could easily choose another proper hotel. I will definitely not choose this place again."

GGuest UserMy stay here far exceeded my expectations. The hotel's overall environment is quiet and elegant, with clean and fresh common areas and a simple yet grand decor that creates a wonderful atmosphere. The room facilities are very new, the bedding is soft and comfortable, the bathroom fixtures work smoothly with stable water pressure, and the room has good lighting and ventilation. The cleanliness is excellent, with no dust in the corners. The amenities are comprehensive and very convenient for daily use. The staff are gentle, polite, and responsive. The location is convenient for getting around, and the surrounding area is not noisy. Overall, the value for money is excellent. It's suitable for both short trips and quick business travel, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. I had no regrets, and I'll definitely prioritize this hotel next time I visit. I highly recommend it!

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is fantastic; Wenshu Monastery is right outside the door if you turn left. We visited during a holiday, and there was no queue to enter the monastery from this side. The hotel is clean and hygienic, and the environment is elegant – a quiet oasis in a bustling area. The bedding was so soft I fell asleep as soon as I lay down. Breakfast was plentiful, and the coffee brewed by the owner was delicious. The staff were warm and the service was attentive. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Chengdu.

GGuest UserI didn't have much of a detailed plan for my short trip to Chengdu this time; I randomly booked this hotel, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. It was raining lightly on the day I arrived, and I got a bit wet dragging my luggage. As soon as I stepped into the hotel lobby, I immediately felt a sense of warmth. The front desk staff noticed me and proactively offered tissues. The check-in process was relaxed and unhurried; they didn't just rush through the procedures and even kindly reminded me to be careful of slippery surfaces due to the rain.
The first impression when I entered the room was how fresh and clean it was, with no stuffy odors. The layout was simple and comfortable. The bedding was neat and soft, and the lighting was gentle and not harsh. After a long journey, coming back to the room allowed me to completely relax. The bathroom was meticulously cleaned, with all the corners well-maintained. The water flow was smooth, and the overall bathroom experience was excellent. The hotel's soundproofing was good; it was very quiet at night, and I had a peaceful and solid night's sleep.
At one point, when I went out, I accidentally left my umbrella near the elevator. I thought it would be difficult to get back, but I decided to contact the front desk just in case. The staff quickly helped me check the surveillance footage and successfully retrieved my item. This small incident particularly warmed my heart.
Overall, my stay was very comfortable. The facilities were excellent, but what was most remarkable was the genuine service. It wasn't just a rigid formality but sincere and thoughtful care from the heart. It's suitable for both leisure travel and business trips. It was a very pleasant stay, and I will choose this hotel again next time I visit Chengdu.

GGuest UserObjectively speaking, the front desk service was excellent, and the hotel lobby and courtyard environment were also very good! However, there was a strange smell in the hallway, and an indescribable odor in the room itself. When I got into bed after washing up at night, the duvet and sheets felt damp and uncomfortable. There was also a persistent smell of urine, which wasn't coming directly from the duvet or sheets, but it lingered throughout the night. I tossed and turned and couldn't sleep well. In the morning, I woke up with many red bumps on my arms and legs. I've booked so many hotels on Ctrip, mostly prioritizing a good environment, and this is the only one that has given me such a bad experience. It's the only hotel that has made me feel this uncomfortable. I originally planned to give feedback to the front desk when checking out, but there was a family of foreign tourists complaining, so I just left without saying much. Anyway, the service itself was commendable!

YYueguangmeiyingThe hotel itself is quite good. The location is excellent, right by Jinjiang Park, near Jiuyan Bridge, and Anshun Bridge is practically on its doorstep. It's also very close to the bar street, Lan Kwai Fong, and Taikoo Li. The overall service was good, and the rooms were decent. Most rooms have a small balcony with a view, and the facilities inside were complete, clean, and well-maintained. Although the breakfast was simple, it was balanced and offered enough variety.
There were mainly two downsides. Firstly, it's very close to the bars, which made it quite noisy. The noise from Jiuyan Bridge quieted down around midnight, but Lan Kwai Fong downstairs kept going until three or four in the morning without stopping. Plus, being close to Taikoo Li meant luxury cars often sped by with roaring engines late at night. Aside from these objective factors, it seems the room's soundproofing wasn't ideal, making it hard to get a good night's sleep.
Secondly, during the National Day holiday, the balcony door in our room was left open by the cleaning staff after they tidied up. This let in a lot of mosquitoes, especially since the temperature in Chengdu isn't low at this time of year, which affected the quality of our rest.

SSyahcreamWe absolutely loved our stay here! The homestay had such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. There's a lift that takes you up to Level 2 where the homestay is located. While there isn't a lift within the homestay itself, it wasn't an issue at all because the owner was incredibly kind and even insisted on carrying our luggage all the way up to our room on the third floor. We truly appreciated such a thoughtful gesture!
The hospitality and service were exceptional throughout our stay. For my Muslim friends, there's a delicious halal food stall located just outside the homestay. It was so good that we went back to buy takeaway for dinner later that night!
The location is also convenient, with many tourist attractions nearby. We found taking a DiDi to be the easiest and most comfortable way to get around.
Overall, we genuinely enjoyed our stay and couldn't have asked for a better host. Thank you for making our trip such a memorable one, we would definitely stay here again!

GGuest UserCons:
1. The check-in process was truly unprofessional. They just said there were no rooms available and then left guests hanging, without even informing me about what was included in my booking package. I only found out about many services I hadn't used when I checked out. This is the first time I've encountered such unprofessional service.
2. The breakfast didn't have any rice dishes, not even simple fried rice, which is unfriendly for people who don't eat noodles or spicy food.
Pros:
The facilities and cleanliness are definitely excellent, and having a full set of Dyson products is a nice touch.
Summary:
If you have high expectations for service, I'd advise caution. The best service I received was from the welcoming dog. However, if you don't have high service expectations but prioritize good facilities, then this hotel is suitable.

LLater FamilyWe stayed at the Celebrity City Hotel in Chengdu during the National Day holiday, and our family were extremely satisfied. This hotel is definitely a great pick — you can book it without hesitation!
We arrived on an international flight and landed very early. We contacted the hotel in advance, and all the staff were warm and professional. Special thanks go to Ryan. He handled our check-in carefully and attentively, helped deliver our luggage to the room, and was incredibly thoughtful. He patiently told us how to purchase breakfast, shared plenty of practical travel tips and recommended sightseeing routes. We were truly touched and grateful for his help.
The hotel enjoys an excellent location, with shopping malls and food streets nearby, making dining and getting around super convenient. We stayed on the 24th floor, where we could overlook the square and watch the spectacular flag-raising ceremony. The room was completely quiet with no outside noise. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the room layout was well-proportioned, and the water temperature and water pressure in the bathroom were comfortable. There is also a self-service laundry room, which is very handy for family trips.
The hotel breakfast had a wide variety of food options, enjoyed by both adults and children. This stay greatly elevated the comfort level of our whole trip. Thank you to Celebrity City Hotel, and a special thank you to Ryan for his warm and thoughtful service. We will choose this hotel again when we come back to Chengdu and highly recommend it

GGuest Usersoo, okay. Check in took a looong time, had to fill out the form with the lady, and it took a while. She seems to have everything under control in the hostel and keeps the space quite clean, even disinfects the slippers after use. People do smoke in the corridor the rooms open to, sometimes sitting directly in front of your door. She gives you the tour of the whole place, shows you what’s what, all the while saying “please, wear this,” absolutely out of context haha. Rooms were nice, had aircon, no storage though and my biggest gripe - no locks. Cannot lock the room in any way, and anyone can walk in to the hostel from the street. I would have liked to know this when deciding on whether to stay here. Nothing suss happened during our stay but I’m not sure I can recommend staying here for this reason especially. Bathrooms also were a bit meh, a squat toilet-shower combo, one for girls, two for men and one mixed. Never had to wait to shower though. Other than that, location was good, Chengdu actually has a good bus system, 82 stops close to the hostel and can take you quite a few places in the center.

GGuest UserThis hotel was an excellent choice for my trip. The internet speed was fast and reliable. The front desk service was attentive, and the bathroom amenities were comprehensive.
