Youfang Hotel

The hotel is located at the intersection of Donghuamen Street and Nanheyan Street, just a 5-minute walk from Jinyu Hutong and Wangfujing Street. Its location is exceptionally convenient for getting around, and ride-hailing services or taxis can pick up and drop off right at the entrance, though with a 1-minute parking limit. It seems to be a converted courtyard hotel (siheyuan), which was the main reason we chose to stay here. The interior decor is very lovely. The accommodation area is separated from the lobby, requiring a key card for access. Staying on the ground floor wasn't noisy at all, and the soundproofing is great. There is a small entryway inside the door, which provides a nice touch of privacy. The hotel is very clean and well-equipped. The only downside is that the shower lacks a proper partition, and the gap at the bottom of the curtain is quite large, causing water to splash everywhere while showering.

The rooms in this guesthouse have a very traditional Beijing courtyard house (siheyuan) style. The facilities are quite complete, and the staff are very friendly. They clean the room, make the bed, and empty the trash every day. The only minor drawback is that there's no bright overhead light in the room; the only main light is near the door, and all the lighting is a bit dim and warm. This makes it a bit inconvenient for putting on makeup. Even with my own folding mirror, my face looked dark. Other than that, everything else was great.

This is a hotel converted from a traditional courtyard house, so soundproofing is relatively poor. There's a flight of stairs to climb, and you have to pick up food deliveries yourself at the entrance. However, the interior is very clean and safe. The bedding and towels are spotless, especially the pillows which are super comfortable. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation, and the air conditioning is powerful. The location is excellent, within a 20-minute walk to the Forbidden City and 30 minutes to the National Museum. The front desk staff were also very helpful and changed my room when I booked the wrong one. Many thanks!

I chose this hotel for my trip and the location was fantastic, making it super convenient to visit attractions. The room was clean and quiet, so I slept really well. The service was attentive, and both check-in and check-out were quick. The room facilities were in perfect condition and the environment was comfortable. Overall, it offered great value for money. I had a very pleasant stay during my trip and would definitely recommend it. The front desk staff were excellent and even helped me get hot water.

Excellent! 👍 The location is superb, very close to the Forbidden City's Meridian Gate and Tiananmen East Gate (Exit 3). Wangfujing is also nearby. The service was great too. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beijing.

The location is excellent! It's a five-minute walk to Wangfujing, and Nanluoguxiang is also very close. There's a bus stop right outside, and you can get to Tiananmen Square in just a few stops. It's also very close to the subway station. Overall, it's pretty good.
