In tests conducted in major tourist cities such as Cairo, Alexandria, and Luxor, the 4G network remained stable, and Google Maps and ride-hailing apps (such as Uber/Careem) functioned smoothly. Customer service had previously explained that the network speed might drop to 3G in remote historical sites (such as the area around the Abu Simbel temples), which was indeed the case, but text communication and map loading still worked normally.
