The internet is okay, but the signal is weak in some areas in Kyoto. We bought 2GB per day, but it wasn't enough. Every day, it runs out at 5 PM. After it runs out, it's incredibly slow, making it almost impossible to do anything. If you're using it a lot to browse maps, use Instagram or TikTok, I recommend 5GB per day. It's better to have some extra than not enough, because it can be really difficult to search without internet.★

This time I traveled to Takamatsu alone. I installed the device beforehand, and after landing, I turned off flight mode and immediately got a signal. The signal was also good during my island hopping trip in Takamatsu, even though it was a bit pricey.★

I visited Takamatsu. I stopped by Naoshima, Kurashiki, and Kotohira Shrine. The speeds were comparable to those in Korea, so I used it comfortably. Sometimes, the speeds get significantly weaker when going uphill or underground, but that's to be expected. If you purchase this upgrade, you'll have a comfortable trip.
