The cave, also known as the African cave, is a natural cave located a few kilometers southwest of Cape Spate. The name is derived from the Greek myth of Hercules. In Greek mythology, the ancient continent of Africa was connected to Eurasia, and under the wrath of Heracles, the Gibraltar Mountain was split in one hand, which brought together the waters of the Atlantic and the Mediterranean, and thus appeared the Strait of Gibraltar. This act infuriated Zeus, and Heracles was punished for lifting the weights forever. Hercules Cave is not famous for this mythical story, but because there is a cave in the cave that resembles the "African map", and even the outline of Madagascar can be clearly seen below the map. Address: Tangier, Moroccan Transport: There is no public transportation in this place. If you are not driving by yourself, come before chartering a car. It costs about AED 250 to and from Africa Cave. The price is about 175 yuan. Every attraction will wait for you to take pictures for a while. Three hours is enough.

A very beautiful hole, really like a map, the key is that because of the difference between the sun and the waves, everyone can take their own exclusive photos, absolutely unique.
The African cave is also called Hercules Cave. The shape of the cave is very similar to the African layout. From the cave, the sea water is two colors. The line is the dividing line between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. I didn't do a good job of strategy, and the photos I took didn't capture the characteristics.
Beautiful scenery, very good choice, I like this place very much!
The best time to watch the African cave is 10am, the sun shines on the sea, you can see the sea level, we arrived at 9am, walking down the beach below. There is a small square at the entrance of the cave, surrounded by six or seven coffee shops and souvenir shops, there is time to sit leisurely for a while, have a cup of coffee, blow the sea breeze is so pleasant!
Not far from Tangier, there is a strange cave on the Atlantic coast, known by locals as the Hercules Cave or the African Cave. The cave is not large, but surprisingly, the cave’s mouth resembles a map of Africa, even Madagascar. It was naturally formed by waves hitting rocks for thousands of years. However, there are still obvious traces of artificial chiselling in the interior. The hole is very cool, with the lights on, and the photo effect is not good. The "Hercules Cave", which is washed by the sea, does have the shape of a map of Africa, and small waves in the Atlantic Ocean continue to wash the caves in a gust, occasionally seeing one or two seas fly to the nest at the top of the cave. Due to the backlight, the photo can not see the face, but the effect of the African hole is still good, although the feeling of the photo is the same.
Yes, a place worth going, like it, go again next time.
It is a century-old cultural hole.
