I wouldn't say this is a "hidden gem" as it isn't really hidden, but it is somewhat off the beaten track. Highly recommend to better understand the history of Martinique and the eruption of Pelee.
I am not sure who is responsible for this beautiful little museum, but it was very well done. There is an audio tour and lots of information about the horrible tragedy that befell this town of 30,000 ...

Great Museum!

I think it's a compulsory visit to understand what happened in the previous days, during the eruption and in the subsequent days.
