Surprised by this arch over US Highway 89
We stopped in Afton, WY, to buy gas and were surprised by this arch over US Highway 89, the main street through town. They call it the ‘World’s Largest Elkhorn Arch,’ and it spans the entire road at 7...
Fun little town.
This little town is a pleasure to explore. It has several shops and restaurants that are friendly. Nice mom and pop hotel, The Lazy B is great place to stay while visiting the area.
Nice to see.
If you're driving by, stop and look. Take care to travel slowly through the pedestrian walkway. Then stop and dine at the numerous restaurants on both sides of the street.
Great Town
Afton’s arch is way more impressive than Jackson’s. The shops near the arch are way more reasonable also.
