Museum Van Loon

The Fanlong Museum is a very beautiful museum, whether it is the museum itself or the furnishings and objects in the museum, it is very visible, and it is also a place to learn about the history of tin-plated in the Far East of the Netherlands.

The Fan Long Museum is not far from the hotel we stayed in. At first, I didn’t pay special attention to it. I just saw this beautiful building during dinner. It seems to be the building of the rich merchants of the year. The history is still quite long.

This is a pretty interesting museum and I’m glad we had a look but it didn’t blow me away in what was on display. Maybe more information like another reviewer said would help amplify the experience a bit. Would be interesting if they had more information about the servants quarters although they understandably had them blocked off as I don’t think people would fit up those stairs.

After entering, first the family's old house, you can visit the room inside, go to the basement to enter the back garden, and then go to a house at the back, which is the family museum. It takes not much time, and it is still close to the Singhl Flower Market, so you may as well walk over and see.

The Fan Long Museum, located in the downtown area of Amsterdam, is the former residence of the founder of the famous East India Company in Dutch history. The former residence is exquisite and noble, and the interior decoration of the building is very luxurious. It can be seen that the glory of the East India Company was in that year. The famous paintings can be seen on the walls. All kinds of expensive furniture decorations.
