Unremarkable
This is a preserved area around midway between Penn Station and Inner Harbor. The city government has tried hard to promote the neighborhood with some detailed illustrations around historic buildings....
Beautiful historical neighborhood in Baltimore. The roads are pathed in bricks. Park in honor of Peabody, plus the library and university. Also, Washington Monument.
Lots to see, experience and enjoy great food. Visit all the museums, monuments and find a walk tour. Great food in the area. Also fine bars with great food options.
Did a history/food tour of this area. Lots of history and interesting buildings. Probably any type of cuisine you could imagine here. This is a safe clean part of the city.

Mount Vernon a.k.a. Mount S.O.B.
A walk to Mount Vernon is deceitfully, not Annastraat walk in the park but a mean slope. Worthwhile yes, but mind your step!
