Sally Lunn’s Eating House & Museum - Bath,UKSally Lunn’s Eating House & Museum is a historic tea house, bakery & museum located in the city of Bath, UK. The shop is renowned for its signature baked buns- Sally Lunn Bun. Sally Lunn Bun is a light & airy brioche-like bread that has been enjoyed since the 17th century. It’s usually served toasted with butter, jam or savoury toppings. This building was built during the 15th century, which was once a monastery before serving as a bakery in the 17th century. There are guided tours for this historic building or you can head over there on your own & appreciate the buns and the magnificent building. Eating at Sally Lunn’s museum placeAddress - city center Ambiance/Facilities - very tiny historical house with a signature design of 1680 Highlights - signature buns, English breakfast and tea Avg. Price per Person - £15 Rating - 5/5 So we came to Sally’s home by advice of the lady in the old Mill hotel where we had a night (this one in another post). It is really a place that has to be seen. style , taste and the feeling of over 300 years ago everything is present there. Special star reward goes to buns as they are super delicious no matter sweet or savory. I loved the tea presentation with the pot and accessories. Beside the style food was totally delicious. Beetroot soup tasted as like My Ukrainian borsh but blended one ) , baked meat melted in the mouth and the apple pie with super cream was the best I have ever tried. #oldcity #historicalwalk #historicalplace #breakfastlocation #lunchtime #bathcityTsarskaya17

They are famous for their Sally Lunn Bun. They are open for breakfast at 10am, lunch until 6pm and dinner menu from 5pm. This place is always crowded but lucky for us, there was no queue and we got seated very fast. You can choose between their savory or sweet Sally Lunn Buns. Usually you will eat the savory first before consuming anything sweet. Try to pair it with a cup of tea as it goes well with the buns. Coming to Sally Lunn in Bath is not enough to try everything so you probably need to plan again.CherryMerryBlossom

Not really much of a museum?
Visited the downstairs "museum" and I must say that's a bit of a stretch to call it that. It consisted of a single room smelling of damp stone and was not much to look at except a model of Sally lunn ...
Great staff running tiny museum
Woman running the museum and shop was hilarious. Shared a joke and very happy in her service. The museum itself is only one room so could have felt quite awkward but she made it very relaxed

Advised to go here on bus tour and worth a visit.
We were advised to go here on the bus tour of Bath and we went around the museum and then decided to come back for evening meal which was very nice and have the buns as part of the meal.
