Among the many fountains, the fountain is the most monumental and the most photographed. The fountain was built in memory of the Duke of Zahlingen, and he decided to build a fortress on the high ground around the bend of the Al River and decided to name it the first prey to hunt. "Bern" is exactly where bears are. The fountain sculpture is anthropomorphized black bear, wearing armor, pedaling bears, holding flags in one hand, holding bows in the other, and being powerful. Because the fountain is 50 meters east of the clock tower, tourists must contact the fountain close to watch the clock tower and pass by; when shooting the panoramic view of the clock tower, the fountain often appears in the close view~

It was a bear wearing a duke's costume and stepping on a bear cub. It was the name of Bern. I felt that the style of the sculptures here was darker, and the hidden meaning was just a thought.

The sculpture fountain, located to the east of the Old City Bell Tower, is the image of a bear with a warrior armor and shield, holding a flag, and a bear under his feet, the whole image is quite moving.

This fountain is on the main road of the old town, not far from the clock tower, the shape is a bear with a helmet and a mask, it is said that the bear is the name of the Bern city, so this fountain shape is also considered the city mascot.

One of my favorite fountain sculptures of the same type in Bern, maybe one is that it is animal-based, and the other is a comparatively smart one. Anyway, I think the other is average, this is the best.
