Somber and Important
Next to the Old Town, this memorial is small but important. People were deported from here, just like most of the rest of Europe. Somber and important.
Was pleased we found the memorial statue. I visited Auschwitz recently so was very important to me. It is in the middle of a square, restaurants and shops surrounding it.
Once you get off the main drag in Corfu Town .You can start to explore all the lovely old streets of the town . And down one of them you will come across the Holocaust memorial .ITs just a simple me...

Sadly Isolated
Important reminder of the past, but now sadly in a quiet location off the beaten track surrounded by cafe's and the SYNKA supermarket.
