Interesting stop
We decided to stop & have a look. We are so glad we did. The Lady who took us through the house was a wealth of information. We spent a lot of time just talking to her.

Fantastic tour by extremely knowledgeable tour guide. Definitely recommend this beautifully preserved old home steeped in Dodge City history. Tour is free, but well worth a hefty donation.
Home of Stone may be the best attraction in Dodge City. The Mueller-Schmidt House is only open June & July, plus 8 days in August. Other times it is only open by appointment.
The guided tour made this a good visit. Most of the house has not been restored, which I thought was interesting because you could see more about how the people actually lived. The families that lived...
