Polka13This is a must-go spot if you travel to Australia! Nowhere else in the world you would find koalas and kangaroos in their natural habitat. They were well taken care of, not in cages, healthy and thriving.You can even take a photo with koala, or feed and pet little kangaroos. For the first time in my life I found out that kangaroo's hair was soft. Or at least the small ones. Kangaroos were not disturbed by humans around them, and not the affectionate type of animals, like dogs or cats. Just laying around basking in the sun. So cute!!!

TodemmyOn arrival I was a little worried as the line was down the side of the building. Once the gates opened it moved relatively quickly, however unfortunately just as got to the front they’d hit their quotas for feeding tickets and we were told we could pay $5 to watch and should another dolphin arrive we could get more feeding vouchers - fair enough!

M32***23With the music playing gently the sun streaming down the aroma of the flowers and hundreds of butterflies flying around I could imagine that this is what it would be like on heaven (my take on it) the staff were very friendly and helpful. You could get your photo taken with the wings backdrop, observe the pupa and even see some pretty big stick insects. The big ones are the females and the smaller are male.

Anonymous UserThe zoo is very large and there are many types of animals. You can get close to kangaroos, koalas, ostriches, etc. If you are tired, there are small trains, restaurants and other rest areas, as well as various performances. The experience is good and it is worth a visit.

137***66A nice park in North Lakes.Its a nice park in North lakes. Its been built in and around by shops and apartments.It has a nice path around it and is lovely for a walk. It has ducks and geese, eels, turtles, birds, lizards and yes snakes. Need to be careful of these. Just be aware they are there and you will be fine.
