Fuzhou Chating Park

Fuzhou Chating Park is located between Guangda Road and Bayiqi Middle Road in Taijiang District. It was built in 1986 and covers an area of 3.57 hectares, of which the water surface area is 2 hectares. The north gate of the park leads to Qunmin Road, and the east gate reaches Guangda Middle Road. There are 3 ancient banyan trees in the park, covering several acres of shade, with a stage, a concert hall, a chess hall, a reading room and a tea room. The park was constructed in September 1996. The illegal buildings in the park were demolished, the garbage was removed, the antique buildings were fully renovated, the fences were renovated, the park road was leveled, and the pavement of block stones or floor tiles was laid. Two bridges are built across the lake, one is a stone arch bridge, named Zuiyue Bridge, and the other is a reinforced concrete flat bridge with imitation wood structure. More than 100 square meters of Shiping Terrace is built on the north bank. Flowers are blooming in the flower beds and benches are scattered. More than 10 stone tables and benches made of Nan'an bluestone carvings are elegant and unique; the newly built flower garden is planted with precious flowers of the southern country, which is pleasing to the eye. Yi Paradise; the main building in the interior is a two-entry hall with a wooden structure, which is now divided into a calligraphy and painting root carving and photography exhibition hall. In the courtyard is a large rockery made with an axe, which is sturdy and natural. More than 1,000 trees with southern characteristics are planted in the garden, and more than 4,600 square meters of various lawns are laid.
