    Interesting Naval History

The Fairey Firefly was a WW2 carrier borne aircraft built by Fairey Aircraft of the UK and the memorial in Griffith was one from HMAS Sydney. It was an interesting and well developed memorial.

It's hard to miss this landmark. Very close to the visitor information centre and well worth a look.
