Pochengzi Ruins

[Breaking City Site] is located in the west of Changle Village, Suoyang Town, Guazhou County, Gansu Province. The locals call it "breaking city" and "Changle City". The road in Guazhou-Suoyang Town is from the west side of the city site and passes from north to south. According to "Hanshu Gezhi" Dunhuang County Guangzhi County, "Houhan Shu · Gai Xuan Chuan" Li Xian notes: "Guangzhi Ancient City, Changle County, Jinguazhou" on May 25, 2006, the State Council announced as the sixth batch of key cultural relics protection units nationwide.

Passing by Guazhou, staying for one night, a friend recommended the attraction, is a free attraction, the locals have always been called "broken city", actually the city of the Han and Tang periods, after many years of storms and vicissitudes, now only the earth － city wall and house wall. Now there are railings around the city and not allowed to enter.

Driving to the site of the city of lockyang, at a T-junction, when the right turn, unintentionally saw a huge ruin at the left head, hurried to drive past. Closer to see, only the fragmented city wall, surrounded by railings, should not be allowed to enter, but there is a gap can enter inside, after entering, found that this is the ruins of the city. Breaking the city, located in Guazhou County, Gansu Province, the township breaks the city village second team, 35 kilometers from the county, Anqiao Highway by the west side of the city. The city site wall is tall, well preserved, and the earthen version is built. The north and south are about 250 meters long, and the east and west are about147.7 meters. The total area is 36,261 square meters. The original north gate is opened. There are gray ceramic pieces, red ceramic pieces, tiles in the city. There are small temple construction platforms on the north side of the city, and the local people call "Wangxiangtai". According to relevant experts: the city was the Han Dynasty Guangzhi County, and the Tang Dynasty was the Changle County, which has been around for nearly 1,000 years. There is a small monastery site in the south of the city, and the building platform still exists. Sheli Tower is in, commonly known as "Fernyedun". The ruins have a direct relationship with the rise and fall of the city site, which provides a basis for studying the political, economic and ancient city shape system.

Drive to the road of the Suoyang City ruins, just at a T-junction, when turning right, I accidentally saw a huge ruin on the left head, and hurriedly drove there. When I approached, there was only a broken city wall, surrounded by railings, and I couldn't enter. No tickets are charged and no one is managed.

This thousand-year-old castle site is well preserved, just by the road to Yulin Grottoes, pay attention to it and will not be missed.
