    Quick Stop Before Ferry

    Wonderful staff

    This is a lovely center with very clean bathrooms and an attractive gift shop. There is a short hike around back and terrific view of Cape Lookout and the iconic lighthouse.

    Informative displays & friendly volunteers. This is also a site to catch the Island Express ferry to Shackleford or Cape Lookout. There are trails, one leading along the sound. Fishing is allowed, but...
