Lovely reception. Peter was a fantastic welcoming ambassador for the castle. Lovely site, well organised and interesting. Would recommend for a couple of hours visit.
So much history, and staff at gift shop/reception are so accommodating. I hate going up hills though, so if your like me, panic, coz it's a steep one. Very lovely few hours spent here
We arrived at the castle - free parking as the machine was broken! 2 adults 1 teen cost is £23.50. We lasted about 20/30 mins. The dog isn’t allowed anywhere apart from ground floor bit of the castl...
