The ponds cannot be seen in mid-May. They're covered in snow, along with the circuit track, alike the rest of the mountain. Hence, don't visit in May if you'd like to do the circuit.
Visited 8/21. 2 I stopped by when climbing Mt. Asahidake for the first time in a year. It was sunny and I could see the whole view of Mt. Asahidake. If the weather is nice, you can climb comfortably. From here, the mountain trail is full-fledged, so let's prepare well.

After getting off the ropeway, I rented boots and took a leisurely stroll through the standard 1 time tour course. Approximately 1 I arrived at the figure view pond in less than an hour. 6 I visited in late month, but there was ice on about half of the water surface of the pond, and the top of Mt. Asahidake was only half of the water surface. Before climbing a hill and looking at the water surface, it is recommended to see the upside down mountain near the water surface where it looks larger.
Reflection Pool
Sugatami no Ike is the reflection pool of the great Mt. Asahidake. little challenging to reach. but, worth all the effort.
