A great off-=the-path place
Zuiganji is a very old mountain temple complex north of Himeji station. It is not as vast as some of its more famous cousins; but that shouldn't dissuade visitors. The buildings are set in an old fore...
It was located in a place that you might miss if you drive to Zuiganji Temple on the mountain. When I went up the stone steps, the main hall stood in front of the precincts, and although it was called Nenbutsu-do, it seemed to be a magnificent temple. Grace, I was going to pass through the mountain gate without hesitation on the way to hiking.
It is a very venerable ancient temple and a temple of the Tendai sect. The buildings such as the main hall themselves are also national demand cultural properties, and they are very spectacular. It's not a convenient place to go for a while, but if you have time, it's a recommended place for sightseeing.
It was a temple where you can feel the history and taste.

It was a little confusing place to enter west from National Highway 312 and go up the White Country signal about 2 ㎞. It seems that you can also see the inside of the hall at Setsubun. It was a good temple where you can feel the history.
I didn't have enough physical strength and time to climb on foot
