It is located on a hillside on the northwestern mountainside of Shuzenji Onsen Town. Minamoto no noriyori is Minamoto no Yoritomo's younger brother, but Yoritomo was told to kill his younger brother Yoshitsune, and when he refused, he became worse with Yoritomo, and after being confined to Shinkoin, one of the eight pagodas of Shuzenji, he met a surprise hit by Kajiwara Kagetoki. It is said that he committed suicide after the defense. (The monument to the site of Shinkoin is on the stairs of Hieda Shrine.) The place of the grave is a little off the hot spring town.
