Wat Pha Sorn Kaew ( meaning: temple on a glass cliff), also known as Wat Phra That Pha Son Kaeo is a Buddhist monastery and temple in Khao Kor, Phetchabun, in north-central Thailand, about 5 hours drive north of Bangkok. The Wat is set on an 830m peak, a few hundred meters from the town of Kheam Son on the main highway 12, between Phitsanulok and Lom Sak.
Don't miss this superb scenic place. It has an awsome vibe and one can feel inner peace after seeing such a unique Buddha statue both within temple and outside as well. I have never ever seen similar Buddha image i.e. 5 sitting Budha statue, in my life. The temple walls and floors are fragmented with small beautiful tiles and ceramic + crystal ball work.
Good view is an extra bonus, for sure.
The main pagoda and surrounding buildings are adorned with over 5 million colorful mosaic tiles and pottery items and is set in a mountain location.
There is a stained glass gazebo and a smaller pagoda in the gardens.
Highly recommended temple in Thailand and stay there for 2 to 3 hours, to enjoy weather and rich temple architecture.
The temple is in Phetchabun Province, Khao Kho District, up on a hill where views are very beautiful. There are 5 statues of Buddha Lords on the straight line from small to big in white color which make this temple so special. The decorations are impressive in the whole area that we can see how much hard works have been spent here. That’s a large temple surrounded by mountains. Khao Kho is a famous tourist destination so once you’re there, you can’t miss this place. The weather is very pleasant in January. Polite dress code is required same as in other temples in Thailand.
#Wat Pha Son Kaew During the time I went to be a festival worker, there were a lot of people because everyone wanted to see the beauty of Wat Pha Son Kaew. But I really regretted that I came because it was really beautiful, good atmosphere, surrounded by mountains. If anyone has come here, tell me. that I'm sure I'm fascinated. Cam back many more times. Of course, anyone who passes by to go Ya, forgot to stop by at Wat Pha Son Kaew at Khao Kho as well
Highlights of Phetchabun Province If you have plans to go to Thap Boek or Khao Kho, I recommend you to come and pay homage to the relics before your friends for good fortune before continuing the journey. The atmosphere is great If you come in the morning, it's even better.
Temple in the valley in the mist ☁️❄️ beautiful, beautiful, as the rumored ones 🙏🙏 Today, come to pay respects and make a wish 🙏🏻 worship #Wat Pha Sorn Kaew 🤍💜💚
The weather is cool and also made merit with the temple There are many souvenirs of the shop Pay respect to the relics for good luck for yourself and your family.
Every time I look at it ✨ The beauty of this temple lies at the largest 5 Buddha images and around the temple is decorated with mirrors. tiles shining very beautifully 🏔️🗻 The view here has a large mountain.สลับทับซ้อนกัน into a lined mountains around The temple area makes the weather good and the wind blows cool all year round. ***There is a cave at the top of the mountain as well 🏜️
