It is a temple of the Nichiren sect.
Original Text
JR It is a temple of the Nichiren sect located at 10 minutes walk from Kokura Station. When I entered from the north gate, there was a big Buddha. The Nichiren sect has large and small sizes, but the atmosphere is that the statue of Nichiren Shonin is in the precincts, but this is a Buddha. Interestingly, there is a bell on the west gate, and there is also a thermometer display. It's an unconventional temple.
I visited the temples near JR Kokura Station. It is a walk for health. This temple walked along the bus street toward Chacha Town. It was 100 yen to take the bus from Ogura Station, but there was a distance other than walking.
It is a temple of the Nichiren sect located about an 8-minute walk from JR Kokura Station. I worshiped when I visited the temples near Kokura Station in June. This temple was built in 1600 when Tadaoki Hosokawa entered the prefecture. A magnificent bell tower gate welcomes worshipers. There is a big Buddha in the precincts. It is a Buddha with a gentle face. Also, this place is the place where Kokura City Elementary School was founded (there was a monument). If you are interested in shrines and temples, why not visit them?
