Yamato Museum (Kure Maritime Museum)

In the summer vacation, pupils are free and parents are discounted. The Japanese have paid a lot of money to awaken their military dream. Wushi is a famous shipbuilding base in Japan, just off the coast of Inland Seto. The Dahe Museum showcases not only the ship, but also the history of the Pacific War in World War II. It is worth a half-day visit.

About 10 minutes'walk from Wu Station is one of the most representative scenic spots here. As a stronghold of the Japanese Navy Self-Defense Force, Wu's facilities and atmosphere are slightly different from those elsewhere. The museum is not big, but submarines can get in. There are also limited sales of naval curries.
