Nice trail on a warm winter day
This was a nice trail to walk on a warm winter day. The trail was well marked and easy to follow with a few benches along the way. There is ample parking available. The water features are interesting....
Where is it???
Drove to it but road dead ends and no signs for anything. Waste of 20 min so are disappointed. Congaree NP was great and we enjoyed.
Amazing
Very tall stands of trees in this flood plane area. Some 130 to 150 feet tall. Great boardwalk walking trai. Trees also very old. Be sure to bring bug spray.
Great walking trails
Great walk through the swamp - most of the trails are on boardwalks and go through the swamp or parallel the river. We were able to see some wildlife, snakes on the trail, gator in the river, and lot...
Watch out for snakes and gators!
Great hike, trail can be a little rough at times. Go in the dead of winter if you don't want to see the snakes and gators.
