    Many stones

    There are a few interesting explanations but most of what you see are hundreds of different stones. I would only recommend this museum, if you are interested in stones ( I am not) or have nothing else...

    If you have free time is a great option to do in Maputo! You can see all the stones from Mozambique and know about the geological history! Entrance 100 mtz!!

    The Old Synagogue

    Although I did not visit the interior of this museum (it was closed), it is housed in the old synagogue of Maputo. The large star of David still sits proudly atop the building. Even if the museum is...

    Lovely old building displaying the geology of Mozambique. It cost MZN50 to get in so really cheap. The displays are old and could do with a freshen up but it is very interesting and you are allowe...

    Nice collection!

    Very ni ce museum with lots of minerals and stones. Free for kids that love it and learn lot of things. Garden is nice also!
